D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event is here, and this is the weekend Disney fans build their whole year around.
Same routine every time. Months of rumors, leaks, and predictions all collide into a few days where everything gets confirmed or quietly dies. Some fans walk out vindicated. Others watch a pet theory get flattened on stage.
Thousands packed into Anaheim for D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event presented by Visa, with an expanded show floor at the Anaheim Convention Center and the Disney Entertainment Showcase at the Honda Center.
CEO Josh D’Amaro opened it.
“Right now, nearly half a million people are in our parks and on our cruise ships. Millions more are watching our stories in theaters or at home,” D’Amaro said. “Disney has something no other brand on Earth can claim. Not just a customer base, not just an audience, but an actual connection.”
