If you visited the Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World in the last fifty years, then odds are you have popped in and watched the iconic show, Country Bear Jamboree. The show featured a band full of bear audio-animatronics who would delight guests by singing some great country music.
The stars of Country Bear Jamboree were Henry, Liver Lips McGrowl, Wendell, Teddi Berra, Ernest, Shaker, Trixie, and Big Al. And we can’t forget about the Sun Bonnet Trio and the Five Bear Rugs!

Last year, Disney surprised fans by announcing that the beloved and iconic show would be getting a huge makeover. The last day for the Country Bear Jamboree, as we knew it, was January 27. At the time of its closure, Disney did not know when the show would reopen, except that it would most likely be in the summer.
Well, summer is here, and we finally know that the Country Bear Musical Jamboree will open to all Magic Kingdom guests on July 17!
However, Disney would never let a show go out without giving some dedicated theme park cast members a chance to watch it first! According to Disney, cast members will get a chance to watch the brand-new Country Bear Musical Jamboree beginning July 10 and ending July 12.
At this time, there will be no guest or Annual Passholder previews. But with the official debut just a couple of weeks away, you won’t have to wait long to enjoy it!
In May, Disney Parks shared a sneak peek of the new show on TikTok and showcased some new songs and new outfits!

Unlike the original songs from the original show, Country Bear Musical Jamboree will feature songs that Disney fans know and love. You might even decide to sing along and become a part of the Jamboree!
We don’t have a complete set list, but we do know that the new show will feature songs like “A Whole New World” from Aladdin (192), “Try Everything” from Zootopia (2016), and “Bare Necessities” from The Jungle Book (1967).
The newly reimagined Country Bear Musical Jamboree is not the only big change coming to the Magic Kingdom Park this summer.
On June 28, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure officially opened in Frontierland. The controversial attraction replaced Splash Mountain and takes Disney park guests down the bayou as they help Tiana. Tiana is planning a party to celebrate her family, friends, and members of her co-op but is missing the key ingredient.
