Happily Ever After is the beloved nighttime show at Magic Kingdom. This show takes place most nights at the Magic Kingdom, creating the perfect end to the day.
When browsing My Disney Experience, as all Disney fans do when they aren’t at Walt Disney World, we noticed a change coming to this nighttime show that could impact your trip.
Happily Ever After Debuts in Magic Kingdom
Happily Ever After debuted on May 12, 2017, and replaced the extremely popular Wishes: A Magical Gathering of Disney Dreams. This show quickly became a must-do experience for guests visiting Magic Kingdom.
Guests quickly fell in love with the theme song written by Adam Watts, Melissa Peirce, and Andrew Dodd and performed by Angie Keilhauer and Jordan Fisher. The nighttime spectacular brought new projection mapping to the Magic Kingdom, transforming Cinderella Castle into beautiful scenes from beloved Disney and Pixar movies as we had never seen before.
Happily Ever After features outstanding projections, impressive fireworks, and a magical soundtrack with beloved songs from the movies we love.
As part of Walt Disney World’s 50th anniversary celebration, Happily Ever After was retired on September 30, 2021. Disney Enchantment replaced the show. This show was met with mixed reviews from Disney guests.
