Spooky Season is here, and with Halloween only a few short days away, if you’re anything like me, you’re scrambling for some last-minute fun because how is it Halloween already? Disney Parks Blog is celebrating Halloween with a DIY 3D Haunted Mansion decoration project that is fun for the whole family! All you need to do this project is a printer, scissors, and glue!
Created by Imagineers Stephanie Jazmines and Amy Young, this project is suitable for all a few (but adults will probably need to help the smaller ghosts and could in your bunch). We love this project because you can bring the Haunted Mansions gothic style home by printing out and crafting these spooky decorations at absolutely no cost! From the bats on top of the cue poles to paper chains inspired by the Haunted Mansion’s wallpaper, the finishes will bring out your Disney side in spook-tacular fashion!
Each week this month, they have released another project, each celebrating a Haunted Mansion location around the world. From the entry gates at Disneyland to the portrait gallery at Walt Disney World to the exterior of Phantom Manor at Disneyland Paris all of your favorites (and possibly some new ghoulish discoveries) are represented! All five are now available for download, so you can mix and match or do all 5! The end result is a fantastic representation of our favorite final resting places. It is a perfect Halloween weekend family activity. We’ve loved building these projects this month and creating our own little haunted Halloweenvillage out of them!
In addition to your paper-building projects, you’ll also find fun activities like coloring pages and shadow puppet printouts as well making this truly an activity everyone will enjoy.
To begin, you’ll want to head over to Disney Parks blog by clicking here to view the final installment and gain access to all five links to download the project. Happy crafting!
