The Disney Magic is one of five massive vacation liners that Disney Cruise Line sends out all over the world, along with the Disney Dream, Disney Wish, Disney Fantasy, and Disney Wonder. The Disney Magic boasts dining at Rapunzel’s Royal Table, entertainment like the Cinderella-inspired stage show Twice Charmed, and ports in the Bahamas and Caribbean.
The Disney Magic itinerary just got even more magical for Guests who love Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Encanto (2021) and Disney and Pixar’s Soul (2020). It may be Disney Cruise Line’s oldest ship, but it soon will have the newest entertainment options. This theming isn’t even available yet in the Disney Parks!
Encanto’s Bruno and Mirabel will Appear in New Disney Magic Offering
First up, the new “An Encanto Celebration” will immerse Guests into the world of the magical Madrigal family. The experience is a wholesome family experience for Guests of all ages and involves music, crafts, and storytelling.
The film’s biggest characters, Mirabel and Bruno, will take pictures and sign autographs. Expect sing-alongs, butterfly and flower crafts, as well as movie-themed mocktails, local Colombian beers, and unique cocktails.
The Soul Cat Lounge Will Feel Like The Big Apple at Sea
Straight out of Joe’s jazzy world in Soul, comes the Soul Cat Lounge which is located on Deck 3. It is designed like Joe Gardner’s favorite music spot in New York City, the Half Note Lounge.
The live music will be classic smooth jazz, and the atmosphere is meant to “instantly transport guests to a classic New York jazz club appointed with decorative details like brick walls, wood accents, and plenty of rich leather seating around a stage set for live music.” Table-side Manhattans and martinis add to the metropolitan theme.
Other Improvements on DCL’s Magic Cruise Ship
Additionally, all concierge areas received enhancements. The cruise ship first set sail in 1998, so the Disney Magic team gladly updated and refurbished these spaces. It also received technological upgrades for environmental sustainability purposes and reusable energy.
The Disney Magic’s next journey is an eight-night trip to San Juan! Will you be on it?
