Blaze Pizza Raises Disney Springs Prices, Cuts Eight Signature Pizzas For Good

Blaze Pizza at Disney Springs has increased prices across most of its menu and replaced its entire signature pizza lineup.

Build your own pricing:

  • Build Your Own: $13.50, up from $11.95
  • Build Your Own 2 Top: $11.95, up from $10.95
  • Build Your Own 1 Top: $11.50, up from $9.95
  • Build Your Own Simple Pie: $7.95, unchanged

Crust upgrades: gluten-free dough $3, high-rise dough $3.50, cauliflower crust $4.

The Percentages Matter More Than the Dollars

Converted to rates, the increases land unevenly.

  • Build Your Own 1 Top: up 15.6 percent
  • Build Your Own: up 13 percent
  • Build Your Own 2 Top: up 9.1 percent
  • Cheesy bread: up 15.2 percent, $8.25 to $9.50

The one-topping pizza is the cheapest full pizza on the menu and saw the largest percentage increase of the group.

One comparison makes the scale clear. The old two-topping pizza was $10.95. The new one-topping pizza is $11.50, so a single topping now costs 55 cents more than two toppings did previously.

The Budget Tier Is More Isolated Now

The $7.95 Simple Pie, with mozzarella, Parmesan, and red sauce, remained unchanged.

But the step above it did. Moving from the Simple Pie to a one-topping pizza used to cost $2.00. It now costs $3.55, a 78 percent larger gap.

Adding one topping shifted from a small upgrade to a noticeable expense.

Eight Out, Eight In

Removed: Art Lover, BBQ Chkn, Green Stripe, Hot Link, Meat Eater, Red Vine, Veg Out and White Top.

Added, most at $13.50:

  • Margherita: red sauce, fresh mozzarella, cherry tomatoes, basil
  • Carnivore: pepperoni, Canadian ham, crumbled meatball, balsamic glaze
  • Meatball Pie: red sauce, mozzarella, ricotta
  • Blazed BBQ: BBQ sauce, roasted chicken, red onions, pickled jalapeños, ranch
  • Four Cheese: mozzarella, ovalini mozzarella, ricotta, Parmesan
  • Herbivore: spicy red sauce, mushrooms, roasted garlic, cherry tomatoes, banana peppers, arugula
  • Vegetarian Pizza: $16.58, gluten-free cauliflower crust, artichokes, black olives, red onions, spinach
  • Vegan Pizza: $15.50, vegan cheese, vegan chorizo, mushrooms, green peppers

Previous signature pizzas were all $11.95, so that tier rose about 13 percent as well.

Guests whose regular order was cut can attempt to rebuild it at the toppings line.

Blaze’s Stated Reasoning

The change originated nationally. Blaze introduced a “Chef Inspired” signature collection on May 29, 2024, replacing a lineup unchanged since 2012, per Restaurant Dive.

Marketing chief Christian Kuhn told Restaurant Dive the old signature pizzas represented only 7 percent of sales, and their pricing had drifted from build-your-own pricing in ways customers found confusing.

Kuhn said the Carnivore carries twice the pepperoni of the discontinued Meat Eater, plus 50 percent more meatballs and added ham. That comparison covers one pizza, and equivalent breakdowns for the others were not provided.

This is a chain-wide revision that reaches Disney Springs roughly two years later, rather than a Disney-specific adjustment.

Cost for a Family of Four

Four full build-your-own pizzas plus shared cheesy bread:

  • Previously: $56.05
  • Now: $63.50

An increase of about 13 percent, before drinks or tax.

Four Simple Pies remain $31.80, unchanged, which is now the clear value option.

Gluten-Free Guests Pay More

Cauliflower crust adds $4 and gluten-free dough adds $3.

A build-your-own on cauliflower crust reaches $17.50, and the Vegetarian Pizza is $16.58 because that crust is standard on it.

For guests with celiac disease, those upgrades are a requirement rather than a preference, layered onto a menu that rose 13 to 16 percent.

Sides and Desserts

Cheesy bread is now $9.50, and Pesto Garlic Cheesy Bread was discontinued. The Simple Salad and Citrus Berry Salad were replaced with a $9.95 side salad and a $12.50 entree salad.

Desserts include Bookies at $3.25, cinnamon bread at $5.50, and S’mores Pie at $3.50. Applesauce is $1.80.

Part of a Broader Month

Walt Disney World has raised prices this month on character dining, buffets, annual passes, and food and beverage. At Magic Kingdom’s Curtain Call Collectibles, basic embroidery rose from $4.99 to $7.99 per line, a 60 percent increase.

Blaze opened at Disney Springs after a July 2015 announcement, built at 5,000 square feet with roughly 200 seats, and pitched on 11-inch pizzas cooking in about 180 seconds.
