Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique Reopening Date Announced!

Attention all royal princesses and knights in shining armor! Disney has finally announced that the special boutique will be reopening once again! Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique has been closed since Walt Disney World Resort was forced to shut down because of the pandemic in March 2020. Since the closing, Disney has been working on refurbishing the area, repainting things, and just beatifying the whole salon. There had been “Sorry. We’re Closed” signs posted on the doors the entire time, but those were taken down a few weeks ago. Disneyland Resort’s Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique has also been closed since the Resort opened in April 2021.

Well, we now know that the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique will be reopening at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom and at Disneyland Park on August 25! Disney Parks Blog first shared news of the royal reopening with the following proclamation.

Currently, Guests ages 3 to 12 can be transformed into some of their favorite Disney princesses — like Cinderella, Belle, and Jasmine, or a knight — but Disney Parks Blog also shared that new “hero and heroine” options would be coming to Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique later this year! There will also be new accessories offered for those princesses and knights with textured hair.

With the wave of a wand, Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique offers magical makeovers for royalty-in-training ages 3 to 12. Watch as your young majesty or knight takes a seat in a lavish salon throne and enjoys pampering perfection, courtesy of their very own Fairy Godmother’s Apprentice.

Children get to choose a special hairstyle and then add makeup, nail color and accessories—and even a Disney Princess (or knight) costume.

Best of all, you’ll get a front-row seat as your belle prepares for the ball—or your knight prepares to defend the castle. Share their joy as they get a truly resplendent royal treatment!

At this time, the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutiques in both Disney’s Grand Floridian Hotel & Spa and the Disney Springs location remain will remain closed at this time. Disney will announce those reopening dates at a later time. There are also Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutiques onboard Disney Cruise Ships, and one will be found onboard its newest ship, the Disney Wish.
