Marvel fans come from all over the world and from all walks of life, and some are more famous than others. Someone you might not know who is apparently a Marvel fan is Beyoncé. Yes, Mrs. Carter herself apparently keeps tabs on superheroes like Captain America, Iron Man, and Black Widow, and even takes note of the villains they fight.

The former Destiny’s Child star recently released her very first country album — “Act II: Cowboy Carter”. The 27-track album features, of course, country music, but also folk, gospel, rap, and hip-hop. It is on one of the more hip-hop-heavy songs where she actually brings in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

In the song “Spaghetti”, alongside Linda Martell and Shaboozey, Carter sings:

I ain’t in no gang, but I got shooters and I bang-bang
At the snap of my fingers, I’m Thanos, da-na, da-na
And I’m still on your head, cornrows, da-na, da-na

Thankfully, half of the world didn’t turn to dust when she snapped those country-singing fingers.

This is not the first time that Marvel has been in the news in recent weeks, but this is one of the few times that it has been good news. It is no secret that Disney has been struggling, and Marvel has not been immune to it.

Last year, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania star, Jonathan Majors, was arrested for disturbing charges related to assaulting his then-girlfriend, Grace Jabbari. In December, Majors was found guilty of assault and harassment and is set to be sentenced next month. The Loki star maintains his innocence, but his time with Disney is done.

Not long after his arrest, Disney announced that they were parting ways with Majors. But it wasn’t as simple as simply not casting him in any more Marvel movies or Disney+ shows. Majors was set to star in a new Avengers movie — Avengers: The Kang Dynasty — which was slated to be released in 2026. Disney is now working on a new story and Kang will no longer have his own film. Disney has changed the title, but we do not know what it will be.

In addition to the Majors’ trouble, Disney has also reportedly canceled several Marvel projects. Disney CEO Bob Iger has said that Disney is taking a more critical look at its productions and cannot go forward with films and shows that might not have a chance at success. Iger admitted that Marvel has canceled several projects, and reports have indicated that the studio is not moving forward with Ant-Man 3 or sequels to Eternals (2021) or Captain Marvel (2019).
