Since Walt Disney World Resort has opened its doors, it has worked hard to keep the parks clean and attractions updated, as well as help guests to make magical moments that will last a lifetime. One popular Disney World attraction that has been around since the beginning is the Carousel of Progress.

The Carousel of Progress is nestled within the heart of Tomorrowland in the Magic Kingdom. The Carousel of Progress stands as a unique and endearing attraction that has charmed generations of guests. As one of Walt Disney’s original creations, this nostalgic and innovative experience takes guests on a captivating journey through time, showcasing the evolution of technology, family life, and the spirit of progress. The Carousel of Progress holds a special place in Disney history, as it was initially featured in the 1964 New York World’s Fair as “Progressland.”

The Carousel of Progress is all about how the world has changed over the years and sadly over the years the Carousel of Progress has been in need of updating.

In a viral TikTok, The Carousel of Progress shows how worn out it is. The main animatronic, John, in the show, has his arm snapped and is hanging on. Disney guests have stated before that this attraction needed an update. Many fans have called for Disney to shut down the attraction for an update, but that has not happened as of yet.

While we hope an update to fix the animatronics is in the making, hopefully, the dream of Walt Disney’s creation will remain the same.
