Nada es más importante que la familia! Nothing is more important than family! That’s the message Coco teaches, and it’s also the message of the Disney Treasure! The two go so nicely together that it only makes sense that the second Coco-themed restaurant would be coming to Disney’s most family-oriented ship!
Not long ago, we reported that Casa de Coco was coming to Disneyland Paris. This inviting Mexican restaurant takes you inside the home of la Familia de Zapateros. You’ll explore the various rooms inside the family’s home and dine on authentic Mexican cuisine.
The new restaurant on board the Disney Treasure serves as a continuation of that theme and takes the fiesta outdoors! Join la Familia de Zapateros in Mariachi Plaza as the family puts on a festive musical show in the town square! The restaurant will be called Plaza de Coco making it a true sequel to the Disneyland Paris version.
Plaza de Coco will be a musical dinner show and will be included in Disney Cruise Line’s award-winning rotational dining. For those unfamiliar, rotational dining allows cruisers to experience all of the best dining Disney has to offer at sea. Every Disney Cruise Line shop has three main dining rooms and everyone gets a turn at all three. Each night your group rotates to a different dining room with a completely different theme. Your wait staff follows you so that impeccable (and personal) services guests love about cruising goes where you go!
Plaza de Coco joins Worlds of Marvel and and a yet to be announced restaurant as the dining rooms on the Disney Treasure. Though no announcement has been made, you can be relatively confident that the third dining room will be the Animator’s Palate. This is a highly popular color changing dining room present on other Disney ships.
Excited to dine at Plaza de Coco? Us too but you’ll have to hang on a little bit longer. Disney Treasure sets sail on its maiden voyage in December 2024! The wait is going to drive us un poco loco!
