Annual Passholders Are Getting Special Disney Park Access in March

Walt Disney World added more Good-to-Go Days for Annual Passholders in March 2026, allowing passholders to visit without park reservations. The newly added dates are Monday, March 2, and Tuesday, March 3, and apply to all four theme parks and all Annual Pass tiers.

Wednesday, February 25, was also a Good-to-Go day, and Disney confirmed they will continue adding more throughout the year.

What Good-to-Go Days Mean

Good-to-Go Days allow Annual Passholders to visit any park without making advance reservations through the My Disney Experience app or website. Pass holders can arrive at any time during regular park operating hours without needing to make reservations in advance.

This restores some spontaneity that existed before Disney implemented the reservation system following the pandemic closure. Before 2020, Annual Passholders could visit parks without advance planning, making last-minute decisions based on weather or availability.

The Current Reservation System for Annual Passholders

Under normal circumstances, most dates require Annual Passholders to make park reservations before visiting. This means logging into My Disney Experience, checking availability for your desired park and date, and securing that reservation.

Disney allows Passholders to visit any park after 2 PM without reservations on most days. The exception is Magic Kingdom on Saturdays and Sundays, which requires reservations regardless of arrival time due to high weekend attendance.

Good-to-Go Days remove these restrictions entirely, making them particularly valuable for Passholders who prefer morning visits or who don’t want to deal with the reservation system.

What the Designation Indicates

The designation of specific dates as Good-to-Go Days typically signals Disney anticipates lower than average attendance. By removing reservation requirements, Disney encourages Passholders to visit during periods when parks might otherwise operate below capacity.

This benefits both Disney and Passholders. Disney fills parks during slower periods, generating revenue from food, beverages, and merchandise. Passholders experience parks with potentially lower crowd levels and shorter wait times.

The early March dates fall during a period when attendance typically drops as post-President’s Day travel ends and before spring break begins for many school districts.

All Pass Tiers Get Equal Access

Good-to-Go Days apply equally to all pass types, meaning entry-level Passholders receive the same reservation-free access as premium pass holders. This represents one of the few benefits that doesn’t scale with pass price.

Walt Disney World offers multiple Annual Pass tiers with different price points, blockout dates, and benefits. Higher-tier passes provide more flexibility but cost substantially more. Good-to-Go Days create moments when even the most affordable passes deliver value comparable to premium options.

Planning Considerations for Annual Passholders

For Passholders with scheduling flexibility, organizing visits around Good-to-Go Days provides reservation-free spontaneity and potentially lower crowd levels. Adjusting plans to visit on March 2 or March 3 instead of surrounding dates eliminates planning friction.

However, Good-to-Go Days aren’t guaranteed to be the slowest days. Weather, special events, and overall tourism patterns affect daily attendance. The designation indicates Disney’s expectation that these dates won’t reach capacity levels requiring reservation management.

The Broader Context

Good-to-Go Days represent Disney’s attempt to add value back to Annual Passes after the reservation system diminished spontaneity. While they don’t fully restore the pre-pandemic experience where every day was effectively a Good-to-Go Day, they provide periodic opportunities for reservation-free visits.

For Passholders evaluating whether their annual pass provides sufficient value given current restrictions, Good-to-Go Days factor into that calculation alongside park-hopping rules, blockout dates, and discount levels.

Staying Informed as Annual Passholders

Annual Passholders should regularly check the Good-to-Go calendar through My Disney Experience or the official Walt Disney World website. Disney typically announces these additions with relatively short notice, meaning opportunities can appear suddenly for dates in the near future.

With March 2 and March 3 now designated as Good-to-Go Days along with additional dates expected throughout the year, Annual Passholders have growing opportunities to visit without the reservation system that otherwise governs most visits.
