The episodes of American Idol to be taped in Hawaii are those in which contestants who won their chance to keep going in the contest in Hollywood make the journey to the Hawaiian island of Oahu so that they can focus on perfecting their singing and musical skills. Each contestant in this round of the competition will be growing in his or her abilities and talents under the guidance of musical celebrity mentors as they work to prepare themselves to give it all they’ve got during a concert on the beach at Disney’s Aulani Resort and Spa.
