This summer, Disney World is set to dazzle guests with an array of brand-new shows and experiences, promising to elevate the enchantment to new heights.

Walt Disney World Resort is already a popular tourist location, bringing thousands of guests to the parks daily. However, during the summer months, guests can expect larger crowds.

Disney World is home to four theme parks: Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Of course, that’s not all that Disney World has to offer as guests can visit their water parks, Blizzard Beach (temporarily closed) or Typhoon Lagoon. If guests are looking for less park and more shopping and nightlife experience, Disney Springs is the place to be.

Disney Springs, which is also located in Walt Disney World Resort, is a haven for shopaholics. Disney Springs is home to hundreds of different stores, including World of Disney, Nike, and even Lego stores. There is something for guests of all ages to experience.

Scott Gustin reported on a brand new show coming to Disney Springs this Summer. This brand-new drone show will be called Disney Dreams That Soar and will start May 24 and run until September 2.

Disney describes this new show like this: “Disney stories celebrating the joy of flight with state-of-the-art drones choreographed to create designs in the sky and paired with a “soaring” musical score and memorable movie quotes.”

Disney guests have noticed drones flying around the skies at night. However, Disney did not comment on what the future was going to hold. Over at Disneyland Paris, the Disney Electrical Sky Parade includes 500 drones that form intricate patterns and shapes that pay homage to beloved Disney characters and scenes.

Walt Disney World Resort has a lot up its sleeve this Summer. EPCOT will open CommuniCore Hall and Plaza on June 10 and will feature an all-new show featuring Encanto. This show will be called “¡Celebración Encanto!” and will debut at EPCOT from June 10-Sept. 6.

Over at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, guests will be able to celebrate the 30th anniversary of The Lion King this summer from June 10 to September 6. Fan-favorite characters such as Timon and Rafiki will meet guests at Rafiki’s Planet Watch.
