The interior is broken down into several rooms with warm wooden paneling and accents, nautical décor and props lining the walls, deco-inspired light fixtures, and geometric carpeting.

One room at Yachtsman Steakhouse features a curved wall of windows that look out at Stormalong Bay, the pool area shared by Disney’s Yacht Club Resort and Disney’s Beach Club Resort, the boardwalk, and Crescent Lake. The ceiling in this room is particularly beautiful with rounded windows reminiscent of portholes, a bright teal color, and intricate curved wooden pieces that come together to form a modern, yet classic, architectural feature above.

Porterhouse for Two

While the atmosphere at Yachtsman Steakhouse is wonderful, it is the menu that is the true star of any dining experience there. Being a steakhouse, the menu predominantly focuses on traditional butcher’s cuts including an 8-oz Filet Mignon, 16-oz Rib-Eye Steak, and 14-oz Roasted Prime Rib, all of which can be seen hanging in a dry aging room near the entrance of the restaurant.

Now that we’ve established that the Chilled Admiral’s Tower for Two is so indulgent, just what types of fish are in it? Well, the impressive and tall presentation showcases Maine lobster, snow crab, tuna tartare, jumbo shrimp, mussels, scallop ceviche, and charred octopus salad for a huge variety of options that Guests can share.

The Chilled Admiral’s Tower is broken down into two levels on a tiered serving tray, both filled with ice to keep everything chilled and delicious and wedges of lime for garnish. The top layer features the Maine lobster and snow crab which are artfully arranged to add even more height to the impressive dish. Also found on the top are perfectly lined up pieces of jumbo shrimp which small herb garnishes for additional flavor.

Moving to the bottom tier of the Chilled Admiral’s Tower for Two, Guests can find a small, square dish that is filled with the charred octopus salad which also features bites of potato. Two additional square dishes feature the tuna tartare and scallop ceviche which are surrounded by a large portion of fresh mussels.

Depending on the type of seafood, Guests can enjoy sautéed options, raw options, and charred options, making the dinner perfect for two Guests to share as they can pick and choose which items they would like, or opt to indulge in them all.

With such an indulgence, comes a hefty price tag and the Chilled Admiral’s Tower for Two is the most expensive item on the menu at Yachtsman Steakhouse and the most expensive seafood offering at the Walt Disney World Resort. The meal costs one hundred and forty dollars which is really not that bad considering the massive amount of fresh seafood that is offered.

The price also becomes more reasonable when Guests factor in that the meal can be shared between two Guests, making it equate to seventy dollars a person. While this is absolutely still an indulgent cost, it is very reasonable considering the amount of fresh seafood available to enjoy.
