The interior continues the upscale seaside vibes with several different dining rooms featuring various blue and green tones, lots of exposed wood, nautical props, and large windows overlooking the water.

Behind The Boathouse there are also three different outdoor bars where Guests can cozy up to enjoy drinks while taking in the water views, all of which are connected by a main boardwalk. These options are great for Guests who are looking to simply enjoy a cocktail and soak in the beautiful ambiance of Lake Buena Vista and Disney Springs.

Since The Boathouse is located on the shores of the water, Guests are also treated to beautiful views of various boats floating by. Small boats frequently breeze by bringing Guests up and down the Sassagoula River to nearby Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter and Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside.

In addition, there is also the Dream Boat Experience which allows Guests the chance to enjoy a twenty minute guided tour of Lake Buena Vista in a vintage Amphicar that literally drives right off the loading dock into the water. Hearty brunch options include the Lakeside Breakfast which pairs two eggs any style with home fries, bacon or sausage, and ciabatta toast and the Steak and Eggs which features a tender strip steak served with home fries and two eggs any style.

More traditional brunch options found on the menu are the Belgian Waffle with bacon or sausage or the Avocado Toast which tops multigrain toast with avocado, tomato, feta, pickled red onions, and two eggs any style. Egg lovers can also enjoy the Crabcakes Benedict which is a unique twist on the classic and tops two crab cakes with prosciutto, poached eggs, hollandaise, and grilled asparagus.

The final two main brunch options at The Boathouse are southern classics that pack comfort and big flavors into every bite. The Shrimp and Grits features a base of spicy cheddar beer cheese grits that are topped with shrimp, Andouille sausage, and two eggs any style and the Chicken Biscuit & Gravy features a flaky buttermilk biscuit topped with creole-onion gravy, panko chicken tenders, and two eggs any style.

The Boathouse is one of the best locations for seafood lovers to enjoy at the Walt Disney World Resort, and the lunch and dinner menus kick off with Raw Bar options that are truly indulgent. Guests can order up Yellowfin Tuna Poke, Jumbo Lump Crab and Avocado with tarragon remoulade, Wild Caught Sea of Cortez Shrimp with Gibsons Bombay Gin cocktail sauce, and Oysters on the Half Shell served with the same cocktail sauce and cucumber mignonette.

Continuing with the seafood options, the menu features Market Fresh Fish choices including the Coriander-seared Ahi Tuna served with blistered shishito peppers, soy lime vinaigrette, wasabi mayo, and sriracha. Also features is the Gulf of Mexico Red Group with baby kale, potatoes, red onions, cremini mushrooms, roasted red peppers, and orange chili butter as well as the Cedar Planked Gulf of Maine Salmon with kale, green beans, potatoes, grape tomatoes, and lemon vinaigrette.

Guests who are looking for lighter options that are still filling and packed with flavors have several salads to choose from with The Wedge with classic iceberg lettuce, grape tomatoes, red onions, blue cheese dressing, and chopped bacon, Classic Caesar with traditional dressing, parmesan, and croutons, and the Garden with a blend of iceberg and romaine, grape tomatoes, carrots, cucumbers, and an herb vinaigrette. Each salad also has the option of adding New York strip steak, salmon, grilled, shrimp, chicken breast, jumbo lump crab, or Maine lobster meat for an additional fee.

The Boathouse menu also features a Sea & Shore section where Guests can enjoy options such as Pasta with Vegetables and Pesto Cream, Roasted Green Circle Chicken Breast, and Shrimp & Andouille Mac & Cheese. The most indulgent option from this portion of the menu by far is the Maine Lobster Tail Oscar which features an 8 ounce lobster tail served with asparagus, jumbo lump crab, béarnaise sauce, and parsley potatoes.

The next portion of menu for lunch and dinner at The Boathouse is the Launch where delicious appetizer options are featured, again with a heavy focus on fresh seafood. Some wonderful options from this menu portion include Steamed Middleneck Clams, Maine Lobster Bisque, Firecracker Shrimp, Hoison Chili Calamari, Fried Atlantic Clam Strips, and Peel and Eat Key West Shrimp. Guests looking for a non-seafood appetizer can enjoy the Blue Star Angus Carpaccio and the Duo Dips and Chips which comes with pimento cheese and fresh salsa roja.

Guests who are looking to enjoy an indulgent, but handheld meal at The Boathouse have several sandwich options to choose from including favorites like the Classic Cheeseburger, Grilled Fresh Mahi Sandwich, Gibsons “Sandwich King” Award Winning Burger with cherry peppers, jalepeno harvati, spiced mayo, lettuce, tomato, and onion and the “Yacht Club” Club with roasted turkey, cucumber, bacon, lettuce, tomato, avocado, chipotle-honey mayo, and Swiss.

There are also two extremely popular options on the sandwich menu including the Maine Style Lobster Roll which is served chilled with a lemon-chive dressing and a butter-toasted split top but for a classic New England bite. Guests also rave over the Filet Mignon Sliders which features two perfectly cooked sliders that are so good, all they need is a small dollop of maître d’ butter and a side of classic fries.

While The Boathouse obviously knows how to serve up amazing seafood, they also have an impressive menu of steaks that will leave Guests coming back for more. Guests can choose from the NY Steak & Fries, Filet Mignon, Petite Filet Mignon, New York Strip, Boneles Ribeye, or Porterhouse all cooked to their specific liking. Guests can also opt to add enhancements such as Maine lobster, classic Oscar, obster Oscar, roasted garlic cloves, or béarnaise sauce for an additional fee.

No great steak would be complete without a delicious side, and The Boathouse features some steakhouse classics and other inventive options to round out any meal.
