A ‘Lion King’ Land May Be Coming to This Disney Park

One of the Walt Disney Company’s biggest focuses is progress, and as a result, the company is constantly pushing boundaries to create bigger and better entertainment.  When it comes to Disney Parks, this progress can mean new attractions, themed lands, and a combination of both.

Across the pond in Disneyland Paris lies Walt Disney Studios Park, which is about to open its own version of Avengers Campus (which can be found in Southern California’s Disneyland Resort).

But years ago, in 2018, it was announced that Disneyland Paris would receive its own version of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. However, years later, the project has been seemingly abandoned.

When asked about the concept, Disneyland Paris’s President, Natacha Rafalski, said, “We are still working on the third theme. We will make announcements about this when we are ready.” Notably, she didn’t mention the Star Wars IP by name at all, leading many Disney fans to look to other properties.

One of the rumored properties is The Lion King (1994), easily one of the Walt Disney Company’s most recognizable series. With a ton of room and an abandoned Star Wars land, it’s not unreasonable to look toward the rumors whispering of Disneyland Paris’s own Pride Land area.

Nothing has been confirmed…yet!  According to even more rumors, an exciting announcement will be made on April 12, giving Disney fans more details on Disneyland Paris’s upcoming land.

Of course, this is all speculation and rumors. In the end, only time will tell what’s coming to Disneyland Paris. But if you’re hoping these rumors are true, you’re not alone! After all, a Prideland-themed area in a Disney Park would be cooler than the flip side of a grub-infested log!
