There’s exciting news at the Walt Disney World Resort as a Guest-favorite character dining experience returns to the parks this week.

For many Guests, a visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth is just as much about the food and dining experiences as it is about the thrilling rides, engaging attractions, and world-class live entertainment, and that goes for Guests who don’t usually consider themselves “foodies.” With every option, from simple snack carts and quick-service eateries to table-service dining venues and more, Disney World doesn’t skimp when it comes to its range of dining options. And with menus that include flavors from every corner of the globe (as well as some from right here at home), there’s literally something for every palette and every Guest of every age.

When it comes to table-service dining options, Disney World offers more choices than Guests could ever enjoy on just one visit. Or two visits. Or three visits. Or . . . well, you get the idea. There are table-service restaurants located at each of Disney World’s theme parks–Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom–as well as at a majority of Disney’s Resort Hotels and at Disney Springs.

And while many of Disney World’s restaurants place the focus on the cuisine only, some locations offer an extra dose of magic with your meal in the form of character dining experiences, which allow Guests the opportunity to visit with beloved Disney characters while they dine. These experiences all but disappeared following the parks’ reopening after a four-month-long closure in response to the coronavirus pandemic in 2020. It took some time, but most have returned, delighting many Guests for whom character dining is a staple of any Disney trip.

This week, a character dining experience is returning to EPCOT. Beginning June 14, Guests will once again be able to enjoy character dining at breakfast at the Garden Grill Restaurant, located inside the Living With the Land pavilion at EPCOT’s World Nature neighborhood. During this fun experience, Guests can enjoy food fresh from the farm while they visit with Chip ‘n’ Dale and the gang as the restaurant itself rotates slowly throughout the meal, giving Guests unique views of the Living With the Land attraction inside the pavilion.

The breakfast menu has undergone a few modifications, but none that we can’t live with. Guests can enjoy Chip ‘n’ Dale’s Harvest Feast for breakfast, which includes morning meal staples like scrambled eggs and smoked bacon, as well as more magical offerings like Mickey-shaped waffles, cinnamon breakfast loaf, grilled flank steak with ranchero sauce, and more.

Beginning on June 14, breakfast will be served at Garden Grill every day from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Guests visiting EPCOT soon can make dining reservations for the character dining experience at Garden Grill Restaurant to ensure they get to enjoy all the fun.

Disney World reminds Guests who plan to dine at an in-park table-service venue that they’ll need a confirmed dining reservation for the total number of Guests—regardless of age, plus a theme park reservation and valid admission for the same park on that same date for each Guest ages three and up. Book online or through the My Disney Experience app and enjoy the early morning harvest with Chip ‘n’ Dale!
