Official: Disney World Makes Airport Arrival Easier for Thousands of Guests

Disney’s Airport Luggage Transfer at Disney service now covers three more Walt Disney World resorts. With this expansion, every Value and Moderate Resort at Walt Disney World now offers the free service.

Here’s what’s new and how to use it.

The New Resorts

Caribbean Beach Resort was already included, so all four Moderate Resorts now participate. That brings the total to nine resorts.

How the Program Grew

  • October 2026: All Moderate Resorts now included

The service is run by BagCheck.

Why It Matters

Disney’s Magical Express used to handle airport transportation and luggage for resort guests, but that service ended in early 2022. This program brings back one of its most loved features: not having to deal with your bags at the airport.

You’ll still need to arrange your own ride from the airport.

How to Register

  • Register between 30 days and 24 hours before your arriving flight
  • Have your Disney Resort confirmation number and flight confirmation number ready
  • Register more than 7 days ahead and BagCheck mails you luggage tags
  • Register closer to arrival, and you can still track bags through your confirmation email

Arriving at Disney World

  1. Check in online and pay any airline bag fees
  2. Check your bags at your departure airport
  3. Land at MCO and skip baggage claim
  4. Head to your resort
  5. Allow up to four hours after landing for bags to arrive
  6. Pick them up at Luggage Assistance or Bell Services, or request room delivery

Gratuities are not included.

  2. Drop bags at Luggage Assistance or Bell Services between 24 and 4 hours before departure
  3. Bring a government-issued photo ID and your boarding pass
  4. Skip the airline bag check line at MCO
  5. Collect your bags at your destination

Need-to-Know Details

  • No international flights
  • Strollers and car seats: Gate-check them if you want them with you
  • Carry-on essentials: Keep medications, electronics, documents, and perishables with you
  • Flights landing after 11 PM: Grab bags yourself at MCO or allow up to four hours for delivery
  • Pilot program: Disney may change or end it without notice

What’s Still Missing

Deluxe Resorts are not part of the program yet. With the service growing quickly, guests are hoping they’ll be added next.

Final Thoughts

Free airport luggage transfers are slowly becoming part of the Walt Disney World experience again. For Value and Moderate Resort guests, skipping baggage claim means more time enjoying vacation and less time waiting at the carousel.

Will you use the service on your next trip?
