Law enforcement was called to Disney Springs twice in under 12 hours over the weekend, first late on Saturday night and again on Sunday morning. Both calls were logged as battery, and officials have shared almost nothing about either one.
The First Call Came After Dark

At 10:38 p.m. on Saturday, October 24, the Orange County Sheriff’s Office took a 911 call about “Battery (Unwanted Touching or Striking Someone)” at Walt Disney World Resort‘s shopping, dining, and entertainment district. The Central Florida monitoring account @WDWActiveCrime posted the scanner entry on X (formerly known as Twitter):
🚨 Police Alert 🚓 – 10/24/26 10:38 PM

The public record doesn’t say how many people were involved or whether anyone was injured. It also doesn’t clarify whether those involved were Disney cast members, guests, or both.
A Second Report Sunday Morning

At 10:36 a.m. on October 25, just under 12 hours later, another battery call came from the same shopping, dining, and entertainment district at Walt Disney World Resort. @WDWActiveCrime shared:

Once again, the number of people involved, the extent of any injuries, and whether cast members or guests were part of the incident remain unknown.
A Note

Both posts feature Google Maps screenshots that mark the same point in the center of Disney Springs, in the Town Center neighborhood. Responses throughout the district are regularly tracked at those coordinates, so the pin doesn’t show where either call actually began.
What Officials Have Said
Neither Walt Disney World Resort nor the Orange County Sheriff’s Office has issued a statement on the two incidents. Published police reports or criminal charges, if any are filed, could provide more information.

The My Disney Experience app showed no disruptions at Disney Springs after the reports. Central Florida Disney Parks guests can continue with their vacation plans, but should follow instructions from security cast members or law enforcement if they encounter a response.
