Disney World Confirms 10 Christmas Party Sellouts, More Dates at Risk

Christmas is still a few weeks away, but Walt Disney World guests are already running out of opportunities to attend one of Magic Kingdom’s biggest holiday celebrations.

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party continues to attract plenty of attention ahead of the 2026 holiday season, and tickets are disappearing for several scheduled evenings.

Now, another November celebration has officially reached capacity, bringing the number of sold-out parties to 10.

With fewer than three weeks remaining before the first event, guests hoping to attend may want to finalize their plans sooner rather than later.

Disney World Confirms Another Christmas Party Sellout

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is one of Disney World’s most popular seasonal events, offering guests a chance to experience Magic Kingdom with special Christmas entertainment and festive activities.

Unlike a regular day at the park, the celebration requires a separate ticket, and admission is limited.

According to reports from WDWNT, tickets for the November 20, 2026, party are no longer available.

That marks the tenth sold-out date of the season.

Before the latest update, six November dates and three December dates had already sold out. The November 20 sellout brings the total to seven November celebrations and three December celebrations.

It’s a significant development considering that the holiday festivities haven’t officially started.

Disney has scheduled 25 Christmas parties for 2026, meaning 40% of the season has already sold out.

And with more visitors preparing for their holiday vacations, additional dates could follow.

These 15 Dates Are Still Available

Fortunately, guests who haven’t purchased tickets still have several options.

As of October 19, five November celebrations remain available:

– November 15, 19, 25, 27, and 29

December offers more flexibility, with 10 dates still accepting reservations:

– December 3, 4, 6, 8, 10, 11, 13, 15, 17, and 18

However, there’s no guarantee these dates will remain available.

Guests visiting Disney World for a short vacation could face additional challenges if their preferred party night sells out.

For example, families planning to visit Magic Kingdom during Thanksgiving week may have limited opportunities to attend without adjusting their schedules.

Purchasing admission in advance can help avoid that disappointment.

What Makes the Christmas Party So Popular?

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party gives visitors several hours to enjoy Magic Kingdom’s holiday atmosphere.

The event officially begins at 7 p.m. and continues until midnight.

However, guests with party tickets can enter Magic Kingdom starting at 4 p.m., giving them three additional hours before the celebration begins.

That early admission window allows visitors to enjoy attractions, grab dinner, or explore the park before the special entertainment gets underway.

Past Christmas parties have featured festive parades, holiday fireworks, character appearances, seasonal performances, and complimentary treats.

For many Disney fans, those experiences are the main reason to purchase admission.

The event also offers a different atmosphere from an ordinary Magic Kingdom visit, making it particularly appealing to families who return to Disney World during the holidays.

Christmas Party Tickets Aren’t Cheap

Attending the event comes with a substantial additional expense.

For 2026, tickets cost between $189 and $229, plus tax, for guests ages 10 and older.

Children ages 3 through 9 receive a $10 discount.

A family of four purchasing adult-priced tickets could spend as much as $916 before taxes for a single evening.

Eligible Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club Members can receive discounts on select dates, although availability varies.

Despite those prices, the growing number of sellouts shows that guests continue purchasing tickets well ahead of the holiday season.

Disney Jollywood Nights at Hollywood Studios also remains an option for visitors looking for another separately ticketed Christmas celebration.

Most Jollywood Nights dates still had availability in the October 19 update.

For now, Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party still has 15 available evenings. But with 10 celebrations already sold out, guests hoping to attend shouldn’t assume their preferred date will remain open much longer.
