Disney World Will Force Regular Guests Out of Magic Kingdom Early on 16+ Nights

Walt Disney World guests hoping to spend a Halloween night inside Magic Kingdom are quickly losing choices.

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is already well underway for 2026, and another wave of dates has reached capacity. As of August 18, 16 party nights had officially sold out, leaving August especially close to running out of availability altogether.

The pace is becoming difficult to ignore, especially because this year’s event appears to be selling faster than the 2025 season.

More Mickey Halloween Party Dates Are Gone

Three dates recently joined the sold-out list: August 23, October 8, and October 15.

Those additions brought the season total to 16 unavailable nights.

Halloween itself was always expected to be popular. October 31 sold out on May 12, the first day tickets became available to the general public.

But guests aren’t just grabbing the obvious dates.

Opening night on August 7 sold out, followed by August 11, 14, 18, 21, and 23. September has lost September 4, 8, and 11, while October 6, 8, 9, 13, 15, 29, and 31 are also unavailable.

That leaves anyone planning a trip with fewer opportunities to work the separately ticketed event into their vacation.

August Is Nearly Gone

The biggest squeeze right now is in August.

According to the latest availability, only August 25, 28, and 30 remained open. August 25 was priced at $144, while August 28 and 30 were $149.

If those final three nights sell out, guests wanting to attend this year’s party will have to look toward September or October.

There are still more choices during those months, although several dates have already disappeared.

September tickets ranged from $149 for September 1 to $184 for September 29 among the remaining dates listed. October prices climbed even higher, with some remaining parties reaching $224 per person.

Annual Passholders and eligible Disney Vacation Club Members can save $10 per ticket on qualifying nights through October 2.

This Year’s Parties Are Selling Faster

The more interesting comparison may be what happened last year.

In 2025, all August Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party dates were gone by August 26. September nights then began selling out shortly afterward.

This year’s event is moving even faster, with 16 dates already unavailable by mid-August.

Last year’s entire season eventually sold out on September 24.

If the current pace continues, Disney could potentially reach a full sellout earlier this time.

That doesn’t mean every remaining ticket will disappear immediately. Some nights could remain available much longer than others.

Still, guests waiting to finalize their plans are taking a bigger chance with each new sellout.

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party isn’t an event guests can simply enter with normal Magic Kingdom admission. Once Disney sells the available party tickets for a particular night, that option is effectively off the table.

For guests who already know they want to attend in 2026, the calendar is sending a pretty clear message.

There are still plenty of Halloween nights ahead at Magic Kingdom, but the number of nights guests can actually buy tickets for keeps getting smaller.
