Sold Out: Disneyland Marks Theme Park Tickets “Unavailable” for the Summer
A budget-friendly Disneyland Resort ticket offer that arrived last week with considerable fanfare has already disappeared from the Southern California vacation destination’s official website.
Here One Week, Gone the Next
Disneyland Resort unveiled its $59 summer evening ticket on June 30, offering discounted late-day admission to either Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park on Wednesdays through Sundays between July 12 and August 5, 2026. Entry times were staggered by park — 7:00 p.m. for Disneyland Park, and 5:00 p.m. for Disney California Adventure Park — and Disney Park Pass reservations were required. The ticket covered only one theme park, and Park Hopping was not permitted under the offer’s terms.
By Monday, July 6 — exactly one week after the promotion launched — Disneyland Resort had marked the evening tickets as “currently unavailable” on its official website. The news came after the offer was so popular that it temporarily crashed the official booking page.
The Reason Behind the Disappearance
Theme park journalist Scott Gustin (@ScottGustin) flagged the change on X (formerly known as Twitter), and offered his take on what actually happened:

Gustin elaborated on why he thinks the tickets vanished so quickly:
I think that’s incorrect. Disney sold A LOT of those $59 tickets. My guess is they hit their sales target and are now shifting to a different promotion.

Disneyland Resort moved a significant volume of $59 tickets in a short window, hit its internal sales target, and closed the offer. Whether additional inventory will be released before August 5 remains a possibility, but nothing has been confirmed by the resort.
Disneyland Tickets That Guests Can Still Book
Missing the $59 evening offer doesn’t mean running out of options for a summer Disneyland Resort visit. Standard single-park and Park Hopper tickets remain available for both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park on Wednesdays through Sundays through August 5. Disneyland Resort also rolled out a separate discounted ticket offer for Anaheim residents on Monday, giving locals another avenue into the Southern California Disney parks this summer.
