Just as Disneyland Paris begins recovering from one of the most difficult weeks in its recent history, the resort is already turning its attention toward one of its biggest seasonal celebrations of the year.

A record-breaking heatwave across France created major operational challenges for Disneyland Paris, forcing the temporary closure of several outdoor attractions over multiple days while the country remained under its highest weather alert. The extreme temperatures also led to reduced outdoor entertainment, temporary closures at select dining venues, and changes to the resort’s nighttime spectacular, which was presented without pyrotechnics because of wildfire risks and government-imposed restrictions.
Even with the ongoing weather-related adjustments, Disneyland Park and Disney Adventure World continued welcoming guests. Many visitors instead gravitated toward indoor attractions, shops, and air-conditioned locations as the resort adapted its operations throughout the heatwave.
The timing of the disruption is particularly notable given the major changes that have taken place at Disneyland Paris this year. The resort recently unveiled Disney Adventure World, a complete transformation of its second gate that introduced Adventure Way, Adventure Bay, and the long-awaited World of Frozen. The expansion represents one of the largest developments in the resort’s history and marks a significant step forward for Disneyland Paris as additional experiences are planned for the future.

While summer operations continue to return to normal, Disneyland Paris has started revealing details about its upcoming holiday festivities. Among the biggest additions for 2026 is the first Christmas celebration inside World of Frozen, allowing guests to experience a festive version of Arendelle as seasonal entertainment returns across the resort.
Disneyland Paris confirmed on social media that World of Frozen—the centerpiece of Disney Adventure World—will officially participate in Disney Enchanted Christmas for the first time.
“It’s 6 months until Christmas! 🎄🎁 And this year, World of Frozen will join in the Disney Enchanted Christmas festivities from 7th November at @disneylandparis! ❄️⛄️”
Visitors can enjoy Christmas-themed parades, exclusive character meet-and-greets, seasonal snacks, limited-time merchandise, and a festive atmosphere extending from Main Street, U.S.A. to Sleeping Beauty Castle. This year’s event will also include the newly opened World of Frozen inside Disney Adventure World, giving guests another reason to visit during the holiday season.

Disney Enchanted Christmas returns from November 7, 2026, through January 6, 2027, continuing one of Disneyland Paris’ most popular annual traditions by blending holiday celebrations with Disney-themed experiences.
