Disney Announces Six New Experiences, but Only One Is in the United States

626 Day is giving Stitch fans around the world a reason to celebrate this Friday. However, if you’re hoping to attend one of Disney’s pop-up events in person, your options depend heavily on where you live.

The Walt Disney Company announced a slate of six Stitch-themed pop-up experiences launching on June 26 in honor of 626 Day, with only one on American soil. X user @BoardwalkTimes shared the global lineup on the platform formerly known as Twitter:

Here’s a breakdown of every experience and where to find it.

Newport Beach, California — Stitch’s 626 Day Beach Bash!

The sole U.S. activation runs from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on June 26 at the Macy’s Lawn at Fashion Island in Newport Beach. The first 100 guests receive exclusive giveaways; free shaved ice from Hula Girls is available while supplies last; new Stitch products will be on display; and Polaroid photo opportunities round out the afternoon.

Shanghai, China — Stitch and Scrump Bakery Pop Up

Running June 26 through July 19 at Zhang Yuan in Shanghai, this bakery-themed experience draws inspiration from Stitch and Lilo’s handmade doll Scrump. It will feature exclusive merchandise, photo-worthy retail installations, and debut food offerings, including gelato and macarons.

Tokyo, Japan — “Disney Stitch SUMMER COLLECTION”

From June 26 to July 12, SHIBUYA109 — Tokyo’s iconic youth fashion hub — becomes home to an exclusive Stitch merchandise collection spanning eight brands, with Japan-inspired Y2K gyaru-style items at the center. Mall-wide decorations and a Japanese-language version of the song “Glitter Glide” complete the atmosphere.

Taiwan — Pop-Up Store Series

Three separate pop-up stores inspired by Taiwan’s iconic night markets will open across three major cities beginning June 26 and continue throughout the summer, each offering exclusive merchandise and interactive immersive experiences inspired by Lilo & Stitch (2002).

London, England — Disney YuYu’s Boutique

The most exclusive event on the list runs just four days — June 26 through June 29 — in Soho, London. The pastel-themed Disney YuYu’s Boutique offers early access to Disney YuYus collectibles ahead of their public release, but free tickets must be booked in advance through the official Disney tickets website.

Lisbon, Portugal — “Ohana Brushing Club”

Running June 26 through June 28 at FNAC in Lisbon, this collaboration between Disney and Procter & Gamble’s Oral-B is easily the most unexpected entry in the lineup. The “Ohana Brushing Club” features interactive brushing-themed activities, photo opportunities, giveaways, and appearances from a co-branded Stitch electric toothbrush.
