Parents, Disney Opened Something at Orlando Park That Will Change Your Park Day

Most guests walking through Hollywood Studios this summer are going to walk right past one of the best new additions the park has made in years without knowing it is there. It is not a ride. And it is not a character meet-and-greet. And definitely not a new food item. But for parents visiting with infants and toddlers, it might be the most genuinely useful thing Disney has added to this park in a long time.

The Baby Care Center at Hollywood Studios has moved to a brand-new location, and the upgrade is significant.

Where It Is and Why the Location Is Better

The previous Baby Care Center was tucked into the Guest Relations area on Hollywood Boulevard at the front of the park. Functional but inconvenient, requiring families to navigate back toward the entrance whenever they needed to use it.

The new location is in the Walt Disney Studios courtyard, positioned across from the area restrooms beside the entry to The Magic of Disney Animation building. It sits right next to Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live!, The Little Mermaid: A Musical Adventure and the Drawn to Wonderland indoor playground are set to open later this summer. The courtyard has a calmer, more relaxed atmosphere than the high-traffic areas of the park, and the Baby Care Center’s placement within it means families can step away from the action without feeling like they have traveled to the opposite end of Hollywood Studios.

Spacious bathrooms are nearby. The green space and quieter atmosphere of the Walt Disney Studios area make the whole experience of taking a break feel less disruptive to the overall park day.

What Is Inside

The new facility has been themed to match its animation-focused surroundings. Disney baby artwork from films including Tarzan, Tangled, The Jungle Book, Moana, Peter Pan, Hercules, and The Princess and the Frog covers the walls alongside small animation-themed details, including art supplies displayed in one of the cases. A welcome wall features a poem alongside framed artwork from Incredibles 2 and other Disney animated films.

The practical setup is comprehensive. Open seating is available for parents with high chairs and small chairs scaled for toddlers. A large television plays Disney cartoons. A private nursing room with rocking chairs and charging outlets provides a quiet separate space away from the main area.

Bottle washing is covered with a sink, dish soap, filtered hot and cold water, disposable cups and plates, microwaves, and bottle warmers. Large changing tables in the back have disposable covers and a sink. A family bathroom is part of the facility making it a complete one-stop solution rather than a partial fix that still requires finding additional restrooms.

Essential items are available for purchase including diapers, a change of clothing, snacks for young children, and over the counter medications.

Why This Matters for Summer Visits to Disney

Hollywood Studios is one of the more intense parks at Walt Disney World on a busy summer day. High wait times, dense crowds in certain areas, and a layout that can feel relentless when you are managing a tired or hungry baby make having a well-designed break space genuinely valuable rather than just a nice-to-have amenity.

The new Baby Care Center delivers that break space in a location that makes sense, with amenities that cover the full range of what parents with infants and toddlers actually need. If you are visiting Hollywood Studios this summer with young children, find this before you need it, not when you are already in crisis mode.

It is in the Walt Disney Studios courtyard. Next to the Magic of Disney Animation building. Right beside Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live. It is there, and it is significantly better than what was there before.
