The Toy Story Mania! entrance sign entered active renovation mid-December 2025, with work accelerating in recent weeks. The arch-shaped structure was originally erected when Walt Disney World Resort reconfigured the attraction queue for Toy Story Land’s 2018 debut. Before that, Toy Story Mania! operated as part of Pixar Place following its 2008 opening.

On Thursday, January 22, Disney Park guests observed dramatic progress on the sign overhaul. The checkerboard-pattern background that previously surrounded the 3-D “Toy Story Mania!” lettering has been completely eliminated. WDWNT confirmed the entire back layer—including decorative circus-tent elements and the yellow flag accent—has been coated in uniform white paint or primer.

Walt Disney World Resort hasn’t announced what the refreshed entrance will look like or when construction will finish. Toy Story Mania! continues welcoming guests throughout the renovation process.

Toy Story Land Expansion Complete

The entrance sign work coincides with Toy Story Land’s recent surprise expansion. Disney’s Hollywood Studios opened a new snack kiosk in the area in January after months of mysterious construction near the Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge border. Permits hinted at a Quick-Service dining location, but Walt Disney World Resort remained silent until unveiling the completed structure this month.

Shaped like an oversized popcorn box, the aptly named Popcorn and Snacks serves traditional Walt Disney World Resort snack options alongside exclusive Pepperoni Pizza Spring Rolls. The kiosk’s January opening came with additional seating—new benches installed between Toy Story Land and Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge provide rest areas for guests consuming their purchases.
