Authorities received notification about a “drunk guest” at EPCOT shortly after 7:00 p.m. on December 27. The call prompted officers to respond to the theme park, where Disney security had identified an individual whose intoxication level warranted police involvement. Scanner monitoring account @WDWActiveCrime documented the response on X (formerly known as Twitter):

🚨 Police Alert 🚓 – 12/27/25 7:01 PM

The call drew attention, given the ironic nature of singling out one intoxicated visitor at EPCOT, where “Drinking Around the World Showcase” has become a popular activity among thousands of guests who consume alcohol throughout their park visits.

Walt Disney World Resort’s emergency dispatch system routes calls to centralized coordinates rather than precise incident locations. The Google Maps screenshot accompanying the scanner report shows EPCOT’s main entrance, though the actual incident likely occurred elsewhere within the park.

Local authorities have not released police reports about Saturday’s incident. While law enforcement often publishes documentation about criminal, suspicious, or disruptive situations at Walt Disney World Resort, records involving guests’ sensitive medical information typically remain redacted or private.

Normal Operations Continue

No lasting impacts from the drunk guest incident have been reported at EPCOT or other Walt Disney World Resort properties. Magic Kingdom Park, EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park, Disney Springs, and Disney Resort hotels maintain regular operations.

Guests visiting Walt Disney World Resort shouldn’t anticipate encountering law enforcement or security presence related to Saturday’s incident. However, visitors who observe other emergency responses at the Central Florida Disney parks should follow the authorities’ instructions and avoid blocked areas.
