Select Annual Passholders Faced Difficulty at Magic Kingdom and EPCOT Today
If you were hoping to start your Veterans Day with a rope drop at EPCOT or Magic Kingdom this morning, you would have had to adjust your plans. Both parks officially hit capacity for Annual Passholder reservations as of November 11, 2025.

Walt Disney World is welcoming particularly large crowds this Veterans Day weekend. While standard ticket holders can still enter the parks, Annual Passholders found that reservations for EPCOT and Magic Kingdom were completely unavailable across all pass types—including the Incredi Pass, Sorcerer Pass, Pirate Pass, and Pixie Dust Pass. This milestone highlights just how popular the holiday season has become across the resort.
Under Walt Disney World’s current system, all Annual Passholders are required to secure a park reservation before visiting. Each pass type allows for a limited number of reservations to be held at once, and once a park’s capacity is reached, further bookings can only occur if another guest cancels. For this reason, Disney encourages passholders to reserve their spots early, especially around major holidays and weekends.

There was still availability for Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disney’s Animal Kingdom, so passholders who missed out on EPCOT or Magic Kingdom could still find a magical day ahead. Park Hopping remained an option, too—Passholders could move to Magic Kingdom after 2 p.m. if space allowed.
Veterans Day typically brings higher attendance to Walt Disney World as families take advantage of the long weekend. Many guests also visit to honor and celebrate service members during this time, contributing to the park’s increased activity. Despite Disney easing post-pandemic restrictions, the reservation system continues to play an important role in managing crowd levels.

Even with the continuation of “good-to-go” days—designed to provide more spontaneous flexibility—peak days like Veterans Day often reach full capacity long before the date arrives. For Annual Passholders, it’s a reminder that having a pass still requires some advance planning to guarantee entry.
As Disney continues balancing guest experience with crowd flow, it’s likely we’ll see similar capacity closures during upcoming holiday weekends. Planning ahead and staying flexible remain the best tools for ensuring a smooth and enjoyable visit.
