The responses came pouring in, ranging from relatable blunders to completely unexpected moments. Some even admitted to breaking rules that could have gotten them temporarily removed from the park.

She brought pepper spray into the park (got it through TSA and into Epcot). It was a complete mistake and she was mortified when she went back to the room and saw it still in her purse.

While the intention wasn’t there, it’s the kind of mistake that could have resulted in serious consequences.

Other so-called “sins” were far less serious but just as entertaining. Another guest admitted, “I once did not stand clear of the closing doors on the monorail, so it had to open back up and shut again.”

For so many Disney fans, the monorail is an iconic experience, and hearing “Por favor, manténgase alejado de las puertas” is practically a rite of passage. Failing to heed that warning may be one of the most Disney-specific slip-ups imaginable.

Not every confession had to do with rules in the traditional sense. One commenter shocked fellow fans with a simple revelation: they had never tried the legendary DOLE Whip. The creamy pineapple treat is one of Walt Disney World’s most iconic snacks, and for many visitors, it’s considered a must-try. “My wife walks fast and Disney causes a great deal of rage in her because of this. Sheʼs okay with people being slow, a little annoyed by people being slow and walking four abreast, and about ready to throw someone into the lagoon for walking slow and meandering.”

“My WDW sin is that I preach to others about making time to relax at the resort and scheduling pool breaks, but as my last trip taught me, Iʼm too tempted by LLs and dinner plans and usually rush my kid at the pool. She would stay there all day if we could. To be fair, this last trip I had a lot of ‘one off’ reservations that I wonʼt need to do again like Saviʼs and BBB. But still, too much rushing. Guess that just means we need another trip, right?”

Other guests kept their confessions short but memorable. Some admitted to drinking too much while visiting EPCOT or trying to order alcohol at Magic Kingdom before the park began serving it. Others confessed to skipping parades and fireworks altogether, choosing rides or food instead. A few even went so far as to admit they enjoyed Universal more than Disney, a revelation that might be considered one of the boldest “sins” of all among die-hard fans.
