‘Harry Potter’ Actress Shocks Fans with Announcement of Joining Explicit Website

In 1997, an unknown British author, J.K. Rowling, released her debut novel, Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, a book that would go on to change the world. The book became an instant hit, and two years later, she followed it up with Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.

In total, Rowling wrote seven books in the series, including Prisoner of Azkaban, Goblet of Fire, Order of the Phoenix, Half-Blood Prince, and The Deathly Hallows, which became some of the most beloved books of all time.

Four years after the release of the first Harry Potter book, Warner Bros. debuted the first film in the franchise. The films quickly surpassed the popularity of the books, with a total of eight films, as The Deathly Hallows was split into two parts.

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince introduced audiences to Lavender Brown, a fellow Gryffindor determined to fight against the dark forces of Lord Voldemort. A member of Dumbledore’s Army, Lavender developed a crush on Ron Weasley, and the two started dating, although their relationship didn’t last long.

Tragically, Lavender met her end at the hands of the werewolf Fenrir Greyback during the final battle at Hogwarts.

Actress Jessie Cave, who played Lavender, has surprised fans with an unexpected career move. On March 10, 2025, Cave revealed that she had joined OnlyFans, starting her own page focused on a niche topic: the sounds of her hair.

While many may expect OnlyFans pages to be explicitly sexual, Cave’s content aims to explore the world of hair fetishes in a sensual, yet non-sexual way. This decision has sparked a range of reactions from fans, with some offering support while others raise concerns, particularly regarding her role as a mother.

“I’m starting an OnlyFans for my hair. It’s niche even for me,” Cave said, acknowledging that her new venture might seem unusual.

The actress, who has also appeared in shows like Call the Midwife and Great Expectations, emphasized that her page would cater to those with a particular fascination with hair sounds. Despite the sensual nature of her content, Cave made it clear that it would not be sexual.

The news comes as a surprise to many, especially given Cave’s established career in film and television. Fans had previously known her for her portrayal of Lavender Brown, the girl who had a brief romance with Ron Weasley.

While Cave’s decision to join OnlyFans might seem bold, it has also raised questions, particularly from some of her followers who have expressed concern over her being a mother.

On her Substack page, Cave addressed these concerns head-on.

“I have had loads of positive comments, most of which along the lines of ‘you go girl’ – always massively appreciated. And yeah I’ve had some ‘as a mother are you even thinking of what your kids might ask when they’re older?’

“Now, this is where I get a little angry.”

“A common conception seems to be that because I’m a mother, I shouldn’t be doing anything for myself at all….no no! Mothers must only do wholesome, bouncy content so that when their kids grow up they will be able to scroll back and appreciate that their mothers did nothing but mother them from the second they were born.”

Cave’s move to OnlyFans is not just about exploring a unique interest in hair sounds. She has been open about the financial motivations behind her decision.

Despite her acting career, Cave explained that she needed additional income to support her family. “It’s about getting out of debt,” she admitted, making it clear that this decision was driven by practical reasons rather than seeking fame or attention.

Cave’s foray into OnlyFans is part of a larger trend of celebrities and public figures turning to the platform for additional income. Whether it’s to escape financial challenges or simply to explore new creative avenues, OnlyFans has become a space where stars can interact with fans in more personal ways than ever before.

Cave’s decision is just one example of how the platform continues to evolve, providing opportunities for content creators across all fields to find new avenues for income and expression.

While it may not be the type of career move many expected from the Harry Potter star, Jessie Cave is making her own choices and showing that the path to success is rarely linear. As she builds her presence on OnlyFans, fans can expect her to share her journey with them every step of the way.
