New Addition: Remy Debuts at Tiana’s Bayou Adventure at Walt Disney World

Guests riding Tiana’s Bayou Adventure at Walt Disney World Resort last week were in for a surprise when they spotted an unexpected stowaway—a plush toy of Remy from Ratatouille had somehow made its way onto the attraction. The misplaced stuffed animal quickly became the center of speculation, with many fans assuming a guest had placed it there as a joke.

A life-sized animatronic figure, dressed in a white chef outfit and a headwrap, stands inside a cave-like setting. The backdrop features lush greenery and hanging bottles of various colors. The figure has dark sunglasses and appears to be stirring a large pot.

How Did Remy End Up in the Bayou?

A video capturing the unusual sighting was shared online with the caption:

“WHY IS REMY AT TIANA’S BAYOU ADVENTURE?! He must’ve heard Tiana was looking for a missing ingredient and decided to show up. Remy might be the special spice after all. 😭😂”

The video has since gained traction among Disney fans, who were both amused and puzzled by Remy’s sudden appearance. Some joked that he had taken a wrong turn from Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure at EPCOT, while others speculated that he had been deliberately placed by a mischievous guest looking to create a funny crossover moment.

A Hidden Easter Egg or Just a Rogue Plush?

While Disney is known for incorporating clever Easter eggs and hidden details into its attractions, Remy’s presence in Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is almost certainly not an official addition. However, the plush toy’s placement has sparked conversations about potential future nods to Ratatouille and other Disney properties in unexpected places.

It’s unclear whether the plush was retrieved by Cast Members or if it floated its way through the bayou, but it certainly made an impression.

While some were entertained by the sighting, others pointed out that placing personal items on rides can be a safety hazard, potentially causing ride malfunctions or creating unnecessary cleanups for Cast Members.

Ride Shenanigans at Walt Disney World

This isn’t the first time an out-of-place object has been spotted on a Disney attraction. From abandoned hats and sunglasses to unexpected plush toys, theme park rides often become the stage for unintended surprises.

For now, fans can only wonder what Remy was cooking up at Tiana’s Bayou Adventure—and hope that he found his way back to EPCOT safely.
