A Walt Disney World vacation is unlike any other. The employees, accommodations, and atmosphere are sure to have you planning your next vacation before you even leave.
8) Cast members:
The employees at Walt Disney World are unlike those at any other theme park. In fact, they are such a large part of the Disney magic that the Walt Disney Company calls them “Cast Members.” When working among guests in the park Cast Members are considered to be “onstage,” where they are trained to bring the Disney magic to life. You’ll be trated as royalty for a week, and Cast Members will say “Hello there, Princess!” to each little girl throughout the park. To make your vacation even better, Cast Members known as photo-pass photographers are located throughout all of the parks to take pictures of your family so everyone can be in the picture. All of the pictures are connected to a card, and you can find them all online after your vacation. In whatever ways they can, Disney’s Cast Members make your vacation special.
7) The rides:
Mr. Disney was all about the classics. His ideas shaped the building of both Disneyland and Walt Disney World, and have not been forgotten. The attractions that were created in Walt’s time, including It’s a Small World and Pirates of the Caribbean have been known and loved for generations and more to come. New rides and enhancements are added to keep Mr. Disney’s idea of never-ending progress. Each year new attractions are brought in the park for new memories to be made.
6) It’s safe and clean:
Walt Disney World takes pride in their name, so they do their absolute best to keep their grounds safe and clean. When I about 8 years old, I got separated from my parents and lost while in Typhoon Lagoon. Within minutes of me wandering around looking for them, I was approached by a Cast Member. She was able to connect with security and get me back to my parents all in about half an hour. For the amount of people going in and out of the park in a single day, Disney does well in keeping it all organized and clean. For the over 130,000 people passing through the parks in a day, the amount of litter is minimal.
5) Your options:
Whether staying in Walt Disney World on a strict budget or going all out for your dream vacation, there are options for both. Value resorts and quick service meals are the way to go to save money. All resorts still have transportation, pools, and recreational activities. For those guests wanting the fine dining and five-star accommodations, I recommend the deluxe resorts and signature dining. There you will taste the finest foods the world of Disney has to offer.
4) No driving necessary:
When on a Walt Disney World vacation, let them do the driving. Wherever you are in the world of Disney, your party can use their transportation system. You have your choice of boat, monorail, or bus, to get where you need to go. Disney’s Magical Express will even pick up resort guests from the Orlando International Airport (MCO) and bring you back when your vacation is over. If course, if you want to have the comfort of your own car, resort guests and annual pass holders can park for free at the parks.

3) Everything is onsite:
Whatever your vacation needs, Disney will have it. For your convenience, laundry machines, toiletries, first aid, guest relations, and other accommodations are available at each resort to make your vacation run as smooth as possible. Restaurants, entertainment, and recreation are all right there at your fingertips, making your Walt Disney World vacation all you want it to be.
2) The food:
Most theme parks around the world serve the basic “carnival foods,” such as funnel cakes, cotton candy, and hot dogs. Of course Walt Disney World has all these things, but it also kicks it up a notch for those who are looking for fine dining. Disney’s restaurants span a wide variety of cuisines from around the world, especially in Epcot. If you choose to dine over in France, you won’t be having a hamburger for dinner. Rather, you’ll be dining on succulent frog legs, savory cheese plates, and fine wines. Guests come for the rides and characters, but they stay for the delicious food.
1) The magical atmosphere:
Every night the theme parks, Disney Springs, and even Disney’s Boardwalk come to life. Epcot has Epcot Forever; Magic Kingdom has Happily Ever After; Hollywood Studios has Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular; and Animal Kingdom has Tree of Life Awakenings. These shows are unlike anything you have ever seen, featuring fireworks (except Animal Kingdom), lights, lasers, and Disney soundtracks and music. Hard to beat, right? Well that’s not it. During the day, you can find Disney characters all throughout the parks, bringing your favorite Disney stories to life. Street performers, Disney Imagineers, and hidden Mickey’s make your time in Disney not only a vacation, but an extra special experience that you’ll remember for a lifetime.
