6 Restaurants We Love At Disney Springs

With the transformation of Disney Springs in full swing, there have been some exciting new additions to the area with even more highly anticipated arrivals expected to come. In the meantime, there are still tons of great experiences to try throughout Disney Springs. From one end to the other, you really can’t go wrong with any restaurant you choose as each one showcases a unique menu. If you’re wondering where to start, we have put together a list of 6 restaurants we love at Disney Springs to help you decide.

6. Earl Of Sandwich

A classic quick service dining option at Disney Springs is the Earl Of Sandwich. With indoor and outdoor seating, it makes for a perfect place to grab a bite to eat and relax for a while before continuing on your journey. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, there are tons of options on the menu so surely everyone in your group will find something that appeals to them.

The Holiday Turkey sandwich was such a fan favorite that they began offering it year-round. The sandwich is piled high with turkey, cornbread stuffing, gravy, cranberry sauce and mayonnaise to bring all of the warmth of a holiday feast and place it between two slices of bread. Other fan favorites include the Full Montagu (roast beef, turkey, Swiss and cheddar cheese with a mustard sauce) and the Hawaiian BBQ (grilled chicken, ham, Swiss, pineapple and BBQ sauce). For something with a kick, try the Caribbean Jerk Chicken sandwich which has grilled chicken, roasted red peppers, banana peppers and a spicy jerk sauce.

5. Fulton’s Crab House

Sitting inside a large riverboat, permanently docked at The Landing in Lake Buena Vista, is Fulton’s Crab House. This seafood restaurant features fresh and delicious options that are flown in daily for lunch and dinner and even recently started serving brunch. For a seafood lover, this is a great place to visit since you have your pick of dishes from all over the world. Whether it’s Maine Lobster or Alaskan Snow Crab, you can be sure that the very best seasonal catches are making their way to your dinner plate.

Appetizers include Lobster Corn Dogs, which are filled to the brim with Southwestern Pacific Lobster Tails and served with a salsa verde and sweet chili aioli, or you can try the famous Fulton’s Crab Cakes, filled with Blue crab, maque choux, fried green tomato, and a rémoulade. For entrées, you have a huge selection of crab and lobster dishes, scallops, shrimp and so much more. Each dish is unique and delicious, which makes the decision incredibly difficult when choosing which one to try.

4. Raglan Road

For the authentic Irish Pub experience, Raglan Road is the perfect place to park yourself, enjoy a pint of Guinness and watch the entertainment as you take in the Irish atmosphere. As it is a pub, there is traditional pub fare served here, but each dish has the finesse of fine dining. You can choose to go for the traditional fish & chips, but know that you may want a second order of it since it’s pure beer-battered deliciousness – they even have a gluten-free batter that is also incredible if you have a gluten allergy. The Shepherd’s Pie, Braised Beef and Raglan Risotto are also great choices.

Part of the incredible appeal of Raglan Road is the Irish dancers and the musicians. The atmosphere just picks up when the performers come out and make the pub come alive as you join in the songs or watch the kids learning the dance steps from the seasoned pros. It’s worth a visit even if you’ve already eaten, just to see the performers and grab a pint while you’re at it.

3. The Boathouse

As one of the newer restaurants to the scene at Disney Springs, The Boathouse puts you right alongside the water, overlooking Lake Buena Vista and a host of dream boats from the 30’s, 40’s and 50’s. You can even take a tour of Disney Springs aboard an Italian Water Taxi or inside the infamous amphicars that drive right into the lake alongside the Boathouse.

Inside, the Boathouse offers lots of surf and turf options from seafood dishes like the Broiled Atlantic Swordfish Steak or New England Lobster Roll, to the mammoth Porterhouse for Two – a whopping 28 ounce steak. If it’s comfort food you’re after, the Maine Lobster Mac N’ Cheese is an incredible blend of 5 cheeses, roasted mushrooms and a fennel gremolata.

2. T-Rex

For a prehistoric dining adventure, T-Rex is fun for everyone in the family. A combination of animatronic creatures spanning over 200 million years makes this restaurant a great place to experience. You’re only a couple of steps inside the door when you’re confronted with the 15-foot tall Tyrannosaurus Rex for which the restaurant gets its name. Further inside, you can find yourself face to face with a triceratops, wooly mammoth and even an enormous octopus sits overtop the bar area.

On the menu are tons of prehistoric themed dishes including the Bronto Burger, Pork-asaurus Sandwich, Mega Mes-O-Bones BBQ spareribs or the Mastadon Stuffed Chicken. The real excitement comes every 20 minutes when a meteor shower rumbles through the restaurant, bringing all of the creatures to life. For families, this is one of the best places to dine, but if you’re a budding paleontologist of any age, T-Rex is a great place to book your reservation.

1. Morimoto Asia

When Iron Chef Masaharu Morimoto chose to open his very first Pan-Asian restaurant in Disney Springs, fans couldn’t help but feel excited at the potential of what the restaurant would bring. Opening in September of 2015, Morimoto Asia has quickly become one of the flagship restaurants of Disney Springs. Morimoto has brought his unique take on Chinese, Japanese and Korean dishes and put them all under one roof. His inventive combinations highlight some of the incredible cuisines of each culture while nothing feels out of place. The dining room is full of 20 foot chandeliers, lounges and a second story sushi bar.

Start your meal off with Crab Rangoon or a Tuna Pizza, sample from the Dim Sum menu or order sushi rolls, and then try one of the many entrées available on the menu. The 24-hour marinated Peking Duck, the Florida Orange Chicken and the Sweet and Sour Crispy Branzino are all great choices, but there’s so many options, you’ll certainly find something that makes your mouth water.

About Ryan Miller

Ryan loves all things Disney: from the smallest details to the biggest surprises and all of the magic in between. He loves the fireworks of Wishes, the thrill of Tower of Terror and of course, the dining at Disney Restaurants. As of yet, however, he has been unable to replicate his favourite dishes and snacks at home. In between trips, you can usually find him reading about the history of the parks and attractions when he’s not at work for his local public library in Burlington Ontario. Ryan’s favourite Disney moment was proposing in front of Cinderella’s Castle to his (now) fiancée, Lauren.
