Each visit to Walt Disney World features many moments that are sure to take guests’ breath away and leave them speechless. While some of these moments are magical, others can be thrilling, eerie, or beautiful. No matter what the situation, there are plenty of experiences throughout the four theme parks that offer the chance for guests to have goose bumps and truly feel the magic.  These are Disney experiences that are sure to give us goose bumps every time!

9. First Glimpse of Cinderella Castle

One of the most magical experiences of every Walt Disney World vacation is entering into the Magic Kingdom and beginning to walk down Main Street. It is then that guests get a first glimpse of Cinderella Castle which is one of the most beautiful buildings ever. Guests are sure to have goose bumps as they see the beautiful building revealed at the end of Main Street and realize that their magical vacation is just beginning.

8. Top of Drop on Splash Mountain

One of the most thrilling and popular attractions in the Magic Kingdom is Splash Mountain in Frontierland. Guests who enjoy a ride on the attraction board floating logs and take off on a soaking journey with Br’er Rabbit in search of more adventure. While there are several drop throughout Splash Mountain, the most thrilling comes at the end of the experience when guests plummet into the Briar Patch below. Just before going over the edge of the drops, guests are sure to have goose bumps as they look out across the whole Magic Kingdom all the way to Disney’s Contemporary Resort!

7. The Hitchhiking Ghosts

The Haunted Mansion in the Magic Kingdom is filled with many eerier and frightening moments that are sure to give guests goose bumps, but one of the most beloved moments comes at the very end of the experience. Just before guests disembark from their Doom Buggies, they pass through a crypt where three hitchhiking ghosts appear. The ghosts appear inside of the Doom Buggies with guests and even cause some eerie happenings before threatening to follow them home!

6. Lights Dimming on Soarin’ Around the World

Soarin’ Around the World in Epcot is one of the most beautiful attractions in Walt Disney World as it offers breathtaking views of some of the most gorgeous locations on Earth. Guests who board the attraction feel as though they are hang gliding over locations like Monument Valley, the Great Wall of China, the Great Pyramid, and Mount Kilimanjaro. While the scenes themselves are beautiful, it is the moment when the music hushes and the lights dim just before takeoff that is sure to give guests goose bumps!

5. Peter Pan’s Pixie Dust

Peter Pan’s Flight in the Magic Kingdom’s Fantasyland is a quintessential experience that guests must enjoy while in Walt Disney World. Those that utilize the standby line make their way through the Darling’s house and nursery before boarding pirate ships. While exiting the nursery, guests are sprinkled with pixie dust so that they can soar alongside Peter and Tink once onboard.

4. The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror’s Residents

Disney’s Hollywood Studios features an attraction that is sure to leave guests with goose bumps for some time. The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror is full of eerie moments as guests enter into the abandoned Hollywood Tower Hotel where five guests went mysteriously missing years ago. Guests are sure to have goose bumps as they enter deep into the tower and find themselves face to face with those ghostly individuals who are stuck inside The Twilight Zone!

3. Elsa’s Song

One of the most popular attractions in Epcot is Frozen Ever After in the Norway Pavilion in World Showcase. The attraction brings guests into the kingdom of Arendelle where Anna and Elsa are hosting a summer festival. Guests can check out some of their favorite characters and are sure to have goosebumps when faced with Elsa who is belting out “Let It Go” from her balcony.

2. First Savanna View

Kilimanjaro Safaris in Disney’s Animal Kingdom brings guests into the Harambe Reserve where animals like elephants, giraffes, hippos, cheetahs, lions, and rhinos roam. One of the most breathtaking moments of the attraction comes when he safari vehicle rounds a corner and guests are greeted by a spectacular view of the savanna complete with roaming animals.

The moment of every Disney vacation that is sure to leave guests with goose bumps is meeting the mouse himself! One of the best places to meet Mickey is at Town Square Theater in the Magic Kingdom where he is waiting in his magician’s finest to perform tricks, pose for photos, sign autographs, and stop for hugs!
