‘Frozen’ Offering Removed From Disney Theme Park, No Word on Return

One of the most talked-about souvenirs in Disneyland Paris Resort’s new World of Frozen land has vanished from shelves, and the park isn’t saying exactly when it will return.

On May 12, European Disney Park guests visiting the World of Frozen at Disney Adventure World discovered that Rúna — the interactive baby troll doll that has become one of the signature purchases in the Frozen-themed land — was no longer available.

X (formerly known on Twitter) user @PixiedustDLP shared an official message from Disneyland Paris Resort explaining the absence:  “Rúna will be back soon. With the Snowflower Festival in full swing in Arendelle, all the Rúna who have come to take part have formed friendships with the villagers and visiting guests!”

The European Disney Resort confirmed separately that the interactive merchandise item would be available again soon, though no specific return date was provided.

Typically priced at €75 and sold at the Fjord View Shop near the Frozen Ever After attraction, the baby troll arrives in a basket complete with a shoulder strap for carrying throughout the park. The doll turns its head, opens and closes its eyes, moves its ears, makes sounds, and responds to touch.

Disney cast members conduct an adoption ceremony for each doll sold and send guests home with a map marking locations throughout the World of Frozen where Rúna will respond and interact with its surroundings.

The Fjord View Shop itself remains open during the sellout, so guests visiting Disney Adventure World can still browse the rest of its inventory. Whether Rúna has been restocked by the time of your visit is worth checking in person — Disneyland Paris Resort’s “back soon” language suggests the gap in availability is temporary rather than permanent, though no timeline has been attached to that promise.
