The Mobile Ordering service has been in trial mode at various restaurants in Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Â We are now excited to learn that the service is starting to infiltrate the Magic Kingdom. Â The next restaurant to offer the service is Tomorrowland Terrace in the Tomorrowland area just off of Main Street, USA. Â This change takes place starting on July 11th for all quick service meals.
With the service, guests are able to order and pay for their meal via My Disney Experience on their phones. Once they arrive at the restaurant, then they can check the “I am here” button and the location will start prepping your food. Â You receive a notification when your food is ready and which window to go and pick up the food from. Â If you are on the Disney Dining Plan, unfortunately you won’t be able to to use the service since it is currently isn’t synced with the Disney Dining Plans. Â We definitely hope that this will be an enhancement in the future!
The service seems to be extremely popular and the pilot has been going well. Â Disney intends to also roll the service out to the following locations this year:
- Magic Kingdom:
- Columbia Harbour House
- Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe
- Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe
- Pinocchio Village Haus
- Tortuga Tavern
- Epcot:
- Electric Umbrella
- Liberty Inn
- Hollywood Studios:
- Disney Springs
- D-Luxe Burger
Who out there has used Mobile Ordering already? Â What do you think of it? Â Is it easy to use? Â We’d love to hear your feedback on it!
