Guests can find this restaurant near Echo Lake in Disney’s Hollywood Studios Park. Backlot Express is between two fabulous Park attractions, Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular! and Star Tours – The Adventures Continue. Nearby, Guests will also find Epic Eats, a Quick Service location full of sweet surprises.

Quick Service or Table Service?

Backlot Express is a Quick Service dining location. This means that no dining reservations are needed to enjoy a meal here. Due to this restaurant’s popularity, Disney Mobile Order is available. The Mobile Order feature allows Guests to order ahead using the My Disney Experience app. Once your order is ready, pick it up from the restaurant without waiting in line. Guests using Mobile Order are still welcome to enjoy their meal in the restaurant’s dining areas.

This restaurant welcomes Guests into a production warehouse filled with everything from props to paint. The dining location offers ample indoor and outdoor seating. The restaurant’s indoor seating is a great place to take a break in the air conditioning, especially during a rainy Park day.

Wookiee Cookie Backlot Express

Backlot Express serves classic American fare, including the Smoked BBQ Pulled Pork Burger, Cuban Sandwich, 1/3 lb Angus Bacon Cheeseburger, Teriyaki Tofu Bowl, and Teriyaki Chicken Bowl. Kids’ meals include Chicken Strips and Macaroni and Cheese. This dining location offers delicious desserts like the iconic Wookiee Cookie and the Apple Pie Cupcake.

The restaurant accommodates gluten/wheat, egg, fish/shellfish, milk, peanut/tree nut, sesame, and soy allergies. Guests can find the complete menu on the My Disney Experience app.

Dining Tips

Beginning January 9, 2024, this dining location will accept both Disney Dining Plans. This means that Guests using the Disney Dining Plan or the Quick Service Dining Plan during their stay will be able to redeem a Quick Service meal or snack credit at this restaurant.
