In place of Starbucks, Universal has introduced a new coffee shop named Cafe Espresso. This new establishment aims to offer guests a similar coffee experience, although it positions itself differently from its predecessor. For many, the transition from a familiar brand to a new generic one could feel jarring. The decor and ambiance at Cafe Espresso reflect a cozy yet modern vibe, which some guests find appealing.

Initial feedback regarding Cafe Espresso has been mixed. Some visitors appreciate the chance to try new coffees and pastries, while others miss the specific offerings and flavors that Starbucks had made popular. Although Cafe Espresso provides quick service, guests have found that it may still take time to adjust to the changes brought about by this transition. Over time, it is expected that visitors will settle into the new coffee shop as part of their Universal experience.

When at Disney world, Luke will probably be found eating with his favorite animatronic, Sonny Eclipse at Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe. When not at Disney World, Luke will probably be found defending Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe to people who claim "there are better restaurants"

  1. Starbucks might be popular, but it is far from the highest quality available. I’m one of those people who love Joffrey’s and Joffreys actually does offer a sustainable product without an agenda. So when Disney brought Starbucks in, it was evident Disney was looking for revenue over a superior product. Universal is poised to smash Disney, and it’s about time. Universal has been able to thrive despite having to pay their fair share of taxes unlike it’s competitor. Hopefully this is Universal flexing again and sepearating itself from corporate greed and differentiating itself from Disney
