Universal Epic Universe Set to Open on May 22, 2025

Universal Orlando Resort’s highly anticipated theme park, Epic Universe, is now confirmed to open on May 22, 2025. This long-awaited park will introduce a new realm of entertainment and immersive experiences.

However, recent reports indicate that the opening of the adjoining Terra Luna Hotel has been pushed back from February 25, 2025, to March 25, 2025.

Originally, Universal Stella Nova Resort was set to open on January 21, 2025, while its sister property, Universal Terra Luna Resort, was scheduled for a February 25 opening. However, reports indicate that this timeline has now changed.

Theme park photographer Bioreconstruct revealed that the new opening date for Terra Luna is March 25, a shift from the previously announced February date.

Although Universal has yet to update the date on their official site, Bioreconstruct noted that “Universal is offering rebooking options for guests with reservations at Terra Luna prior to March 25. If there is no response, the reservation will automatically transfer to Stella Nova.”

This information appears to have come from guests who had booked stays at Terra Luna, suggesting that they may be relocated to Stella Nova.

With the delay in the Terra Luna Hotel, it now appears that only the Helios Grand Hotel will open simultaneously with Epic Universe. The Helios Grand Hotel, designed as Universal’s first in-park hotel, will offer guests a unique experience as it integrates directly into the new theme park.
