Two battery reports sent deputies to different corners of Walt Disney World Resort on Monday night. One call came from the area around Magic Kingdom Park and Disney’s Contemporary Resort, and the other from Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside. Public details are scarce for both.
First Evening Call at Disney World

At 9:21 p.m. on November 2, the Orange County Sheriff’s Office logged a call for “Battery (Unwanted Touching or Striking Someone)” in the Magic Kingdom Park/Disney’s Contemporary Resort Area. The account @WDWActiveCrime, which tracks law enforcement activity around the property, posted the scanner entry on X (formerly known as Twitter):

The attached Google Maps image shows a pin on World Drive between the two destinations. That location is commonly used to log responses in this area, so it doesn’t pinpoint the incident. The call could have originated inside the park, at the hotel, or along the route linking them. Magic Kingdom Park stayed open until 10:00 p.m., which leaves open the possibility that it happened inside the park.
Late-Night Call at Port Orleans

Less than two hours later, at 11:14 p.m., deputies received another battery report, this one tied to Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside. @WDWActiveCrime wrote:

That post’s map marks a spot along Riverside Drive inside the Moderate Disney Resort hotel. As with the first call, it may be a generalized logging address rather than the exact location where the report began.
What Isn’t Known

No one has said whether the two incidents are related, whether cast members or guests were involved, or whether anyone suffered serious injuries. Police reports from the Orange County Sheriff’s Office or, if filed, criminal charges could eventually add detail.
The My Disney Experience app showed no disruptions at Magic Kingdom Park, Disney’s Contemporary Resort, or Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside afterward, so Central Florida Disney Park guests can continue with their vacation plans as scheduled.
