First Call Comes In Near the Transportation & Ticket Center
The initial report reached authorities at 9:41 p.m. on September 22, when scanner monitoring account @WDWActiveCrime shared news of a “Battery (Unwanted Touching or Striking Someone)” incident occurring in the area near the Transportation & Ticket Center and Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. The account posted on X (formerly known as Twitter):

A Google Maps screenshot attached to the post identifies the location along Seven Seas Drive, positioned between the two sites within the Magic Kingdom Resort Area. However, this address has historically functioned as a generalized marker for law enforcement responses in the vicinity, making it unlikely to reflect the incident’s exact location.
Second Incident in the Magic Kingdom Area
Less than a full day later, at 1:37 p.m. on September 23, @WDWActiveCrime reported a second battery incident, this time somewhere connected to Magic Kingdom Park, Disney’s Contemporary Resort, or the area between them. The account wrote:

As with the earlier report, the accompanying Google Maps screenshot points to a general location along World Drive rather than the specific site from which the 911 call originated.

Whether Disney cast members, guests, or both were involved in either incident remains unknown. Walt Disney World Resort has not commented publicly on either report.
The Orange County Sheriff’s Office has also withheld further details about both incidents. More information could become available down the line if criminal charges are filed or a police report is released publicly.
Despite these two reports, operations throughout the Magic Kingdom Resort Area appear to be continuing without disruption. Walt Disney World Resort guests can continue with planned visits to Magic Kingdom Park, Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, the Transportation & Ticket Center, and Disney’s Contemporary Resort as normal.
