Disney’s Hollywood Studios has changed drastically following the opening of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. With the opening of this new land, there are so many new attractions for guests to experience during their visit. Here is a list of the top attractions at Hollywood Studios guests won’t want to miss.
1. Tower of Terror
Guests wanting a thrill will want to make sure they visit this abandoned hotel down Sunset Blvd. Be taken back to the twilight zone by board a service elevator if brave enough. Once strapped in, guests will be dropped into an experience a trip they won’t soon forget. Â
2. Rock n’ Roller Coaster
Get ready to rock and roll on this high-speed trip through the back roads of Hollywood. Guests board a super stretch limo that truly shoots them off towards the concert. Yell and scream along with favorite Aerosmith songs as guests are looped, twisted and dropped on one of Disney’s most intense roller coasters.
3. Slinky Dog Dash
Head back to Toy Story Land for a more relaxed and family friendly coaster. Slinky Dog Dash takes guests on a trip through Andy’s backyard. A tamer ride with a few drops and bumps along the way, guests are sure to get a laugh on this adventure. A favorite aspect of this ride is when Slinky coils back up and shoots guests off for the second part of the ride.

Another attraction in Toy Story Land that guests won’t want to miss is Toy Story Mania. Guests can compete against one another in this fun 3D game. Using darts, rings, balls and more guests shoot to gain points in difference scenes with favorite Toy Story characters. This is a fun family friendly game that all ages can enjoy together.
5. Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run
The first attraction in Galaxy’s Edge we think guests will want to visit is Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run. Here guests board the famous Millennium Falcon for a daring trip through the galaxy. Guests are either a pilot, engineer or gunner each with specific jobs to complete during the ride. Working together, riders can either succeed or fail in their mission. Â
6. Savi’s Workshop
Star Wars fans will want to make sure to make a reservation for Savi’s Workshop. This is the only place in the galaxy that guests are able to make their own lightsabers. Choose from four different themes from Peace and Justice, Power and Control, Elemental Nature, or Protection and Defense. Guests will also choose their very own kyber crystals to help bring their lightsaber to life. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity that brings the Star Wars experience to a completely new level.
7. Droid Depot
Here guests can create their very own droid sidekick. Gather parts to design either a BB series or an R series before heading to the build station. Work alongside a trained cast member to help bring the droid to life. Guests can choose to leave with a box or bag specially for their new-found friend, but even though they interact with Galaxy’s Edge, they are not allowed to be roaming free. That excitement will have to be saved for the resort or home.
Bonus:Â Rise of the Resistance
Coming December 5th, 2019 to Hollywood Studios will be the final attraction in Galaxy’s Edge. Help the Resistance fight the First Order in the massive, multi-platform attraction like we have near seen before. Guests will work alongside some of their favorite Star Wars characters as they fight to overcome the First Order. Rise of the Resistance is definitely going to be a top attraction in Hollywood Studios.
Since the opening of Galaxy’s Edge in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, new and exciting attractions have been added to the old favorites. Which attraction are you most excited about visiting on your next Walt Disney World vacation?
