Ticket Sales Begin TODAY For Guest-Favorite Event at Magic Kingdom

Today’s an important day for Disney World fans looking to score tickets to one of the most popular guest events at Magic Kingdom, which begins in August and runs through October.

When it comes to celebrations, Disney World does it up big. No matter whether you’re visiting on a holiday like Easter, during the Christmas holiday season, or on a random day in February, the four theme parks at Disney World are known for making every day a celebration, and when it comes to holidays, the celebrations are even more over-the-top.

One of the most popular celebrations at the Central Florida Disney Parks takes place during the spookiest season of the year—those weeks leading up to Halloween. At Disney World, that lead-up begins in August with an exciting and “spooktacular” guest-favorite event that’s so popular that it sells out quickly. We’re talking, of course, about Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, held on select nights in August, September, and October.

In 2024, the guest-favorite separately ticketed event kicks off on August 9th and will take place on select nights through October 31st. Ticket sales began Wednesday morning for guests staying at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotels, Shades of Green, and other select Disney World Resort hotels.

If you’ll be in the parks during August, September, and/or October and you’re staying on Disney property, don’t miss your chance to purchase tickets for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party before they’re sold out! All other guests will be able to purchase event tickets beginning on May 15th.

This year’s Not-So-Scary celebration will take place on the following dates:

  • August 9, 13, 16, 20, 23, 27, 30
  • September 2, 6, 8, 10, 13, 15, 17, 20, 22, 24, 26, 27, 29
  • October 1, 3, 4, 6, 8, 10, 11, 14, 15, 17, 18, 20, 21, 24, 25, 27, 29, 31

Five Reasons This Year’s Event Will Be Better Than Ever

If you’ve been to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party in past years, you know that it’s fun for the whole family and includes trick-or-treating at Magic Kingdom. During this special event, guests are invited to wear costumes in the park–something that is usually prohibited in the parks.

But this year, the not-so-scary fun will be even more exciting, as Disney World has added five different perks to the 2024 event.

For starters, Mickey and Minnie Mouse will don brand-new costumes for the spooky event! This year’s costumes will be green and purple and feature spider webs on Mickey’s and Minnie’s hats and costumes.

It’s not that we didn’t like the previous garb, but change is fun!

At this year’s event, guests will be able to see more villains than ever before, whether they are “sinister villains” or “ghoulish foes.” This year’s line-up includes Jafar from Disney’s Aladdin, Cruella DeVil from Disney’s 101 Dalmatians, and Maleficent from Disney’s Sleeping Beauty, among others. If you’ve ever hoped to meet villains in the parks at Disney World, this year’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is the event to attend!

This year’s event will also welcome Bruno from Disney’s Encanto for the first time ever. Still want more perks? You’re in luck, as the event will also feature an earlier start time for “Mickey’s Boo-To-You Halloween Parade,” and there will also be an exciting DescenDANCE Party, inspired by Disney Channel’s original movie, Descendants: The Rise of Red, premiering on July 12.

No matter how you choose to purchase tickets, just be sure you don’t wait too long. Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is one of the most popular nighttime events at Magic Kingdom, and tickets sell out quickly!
