Oogie Boogie Bash 2026 pre-sale tickets became available today, June 16, for Inspire Key holders, the top tier of Disneyland Resort’s Magic Key Annual Pass program. The waiting room opened at approximately 8:45 a.m. Pacific Time with ticket sales beginning no earlier than 9:00 a.m. Pacific Time. If pre-sale tickets have not sold out, the waiting room closes at 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time.
Tomorrow, June 17, the pre-sale expands to all Magic Key holders across every tier, including Inspire, Believe, Explore, Enchant, and Imagine Key holders, with the same timing structure.
For everyone else, general ticket sales open on June 18. The waiting room opens at approximately 8:45 a.m. Pacific Time with sales beginning no earlier than 9:00 a.m. Pacific Time. Being in that waiting room when it opens is not optional for guests who have specific dates in mind. The dates closest to Halloween and opening night on August 18 sell out fastest and they sell out quickly.
What Oogie Boogie Bash 2026 Is
Oogie Boogie Bash is a separately ticketed after-hours Halloween event at Disney California Adventure that runs on select nights from August 18 through Halloween night on October 31. This year, the event runs on 33 separate nights, the most the event has ever offered, with dates typically falling on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.
The event transforms Disney California Adventure into a villain-focused Halloween experience with trick-or-treat trails, rare character appearances including villains that do not appear during regular park hours, Villains Grove, costumed hosts, and ride overlays exclusive to the event. The limited capacity of the after-hours event means the park experience is noticeably different from a regular day, which is one of the most consistently cited reasons guests return year after year.
One significant change for 2026 is the replacement of Mickey’s Frightfully Fun Parade. Due to construction in the area, the parade will not take place this year. In its place, Madame Leota’s Swinging Wake: A Haunted Mansion Street Party is making its debut, with an optional add-on dessert party experience available for guests who want an enhanced viewing option for the new street party.
The Fall Season Around the Halloween Event
Oogie Boogie Bash exists within a broader Halloween Time celebration at Disneyland Resort that runs from August 21 through October 31 across both parks. Haunted Mansion Holiday, Monsters After Dark at Guardians of the Galaxy Mission Breakout, seasonal food and merchandise, and Plaza de la Familia running August 21 through November 2 at Disney California Adventure all add layers to the fall season that extend well beyond the separately ticketed event nights.
Guests attending Oogie Boogie Bash during the peak fall window are experiencing the event inside a resort that is operating at its most seasonal and most atmospheric best.

If you are a Magic Key holder the window to buy ahead of the general public is today and tomorrow. Have your preferred dates decided before you enter the waiting room. The system moves quickly and indecision in the moment costs dates.
If you are not a Magic Key holder, June 18 is your date. Set an alarm for 8:45 a.m. Pacific Time, be in the waiting room when it opens, and have your dates ready before you get in line.
Oogie Boogie Bash tickets do not reward guests who wait to make up their minds. The event has 33 nights this year, and the most popular ones will be sold out before most guests realize sales have started.
