For most guests, meeting a Disney Princess is a magical moment. But every so often, something happens that reminds Cast Members the job isn’t always fairytales and fireworks.
One former Cast Member recently shared a jaw-dropping story on TikTok that’s now going viral—and for good reason. What started as a quiet evening shift ended with a character performer stepping out of scene, security stepping in, and a guest with a very questionable hobby being shown the exit.
Let’s just say, this wasn’t your everyday autograph request.
“Rapunzel” Meets an Unforgettable Guest
The incident took place back before Princess Fairytale Hall was even a thing. At the time, Rapunzel and other princesses met guests inside Magic Kingdom’s Town Square Theater, typically a peaceful spot during the nighttime fireworks. But for Katrina—who was portraying Rapunzel—it became a night she’d never forget.
@katrinarene11 Disney Character Storytime…The time I had to refuse photos with a Guest because of the inappropriate tattoos they had of the Princesses! so yucky, so gross! #disneyparks #disneyworld #disneymom #disneytok #disneyland #disneycharacters #disneyprincess #disneycharacterstorytime #dcpalumni ♬ original sound – Katrina
According to Katrina’s story, the guest seemed excited and harmless at first. That changed quickly. The man proudly revealed a tattoo of Rapunzel on his body—but it wasn’t your standard Disney design. It was graphic. And unfortunately, that wasn’t the only one. His arms, chest, and who-knows-where-else were covered in inappropriate depictions of multiple princesses.
She immediately shut down his requests for a hug and a photo. Then, staying calm but firm, she made a statement that’s since echoed across the internet:
“None of us are going to take a picture with you.”
When Things Get Weird, Cast Members Take Action
At first, other Cast Members weren’t sure what was going on. But as Katrina broke character and signaled to attendants, it became clear that this guest wasn’t just an overzealous fan—he had crossed a serious line. After Rapunzel warned the team backstage, the guest moved right along to the next princess, trying the same disturbing approach.
It didn’t work. With everyone now on alert, all character interactions with the man came to a halt.
The Park’s Response
A manager quickly stepped in and was reportedly shocked by what they saw. “How did you even get in like this?” was one of the first things said. The solution? Disney offered the man a chance to cover up—literally. Long sleeves and sweatpants were offered to hide the offensive tattoos. If he refused? He’d be escorted out by security.
While it’s unclear which path he took, one thing’s certain: the experience crossed far beyond what Cast Members should ever be expected to handle.
Online Outrage and Support
Since Katrina shared the story, TikTok and Disney forums have lit up. Most fans are shocked this ever happened at all—but many are standing firmly with the performer.
“Good for her,” one commenter said. “She stood her ground and looked out for everyone else.”
Another wrote, “That poor Cast Member. I can’t imagine having to deal with that while trying to stay in character.”
It’s a wild reminder that while Disney tries to create a bubble of magic, sometimes reality sneaks in—and when it does, the Cast Members keeping the dream alive deserve all the support they can get.
