It’s something we’ve waited for for a very long time, and it has finally happened. As of this week, every single Walt Disney World Resort Hotel is open for bookings to Guests staying at the central Florida Parks for the first time since the pandemic resulted in an almost four-month closure of the Walt Disney World Resort from March 2020 to July 2020.

When Disney World reopened in mid-July 2020, only a few of its resort hotels had reopened their doors along with the four theme parks. Since that time, the Resort Hotels have opened as part of the Walt Disney World Resort’s phased reopening, but never have all the Disney Resort Hotels been open simultaneously since before the pandemic began.

This week, Disney World announced the reopening of one of its Value Resorts, Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort, located in the Disney’s Animal Kingdom area of the Disney World property. The All-Star Sports Resort reopened yesterday, meaning that every single one of Disney World’s Resort Hotels is open for the first time since March 2020.

On Disney World’s webpage for the All-Star Sports Resort, Disney has posted a reminder for Guests:

“Disney Resort hotels will begin a phased reopening. As we open these hotels, a number of health-and-safety measures will be in place. Additionally, some experiences such as housekeeping services and resort activities have been modified or may be unavailable.”

Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort offer Guests the fun of a sports-themed Resort Hotel at a value-level nightly rate.

Walt Disney World Resort invites Guests to “get in the game at this Resort hotel that salutes the world of competitive sports, including baseball, basketball, football, surfing and tennis. Go the distance and don’t be afraid to celebrate your inner fan amid sporty décor starring some of your favorite Disney characters.”

Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort features a variety of ways to enjoy family time together, including themed pools, like the Grand Slam pool and the Surfboard Bay pool. There’s also a jogging trail, an arcade, a playground, and space for movies under the stars in the evenings. In between the parks and activities at the Resort, grab a snack or lunch at the End Zone Food Court.
