Showtimes Revealed for the Festival of Fantasy Parade at Magic Kingdom!

We’ve finally learned the showtimes for the “Festival of Fantasy” Parade, set to return to Magic Kingdom on its 8th anniversary on March 9, 2022.

On our list of things we wished Disney World would bring back post-pandemic closure, Magic Kingdom’s “Festival of Fantasy” Parade has remained among the top five experiences, and we are so excited that the magical parade is making its way back to the Most Magical Place on Earth! Disney initially announced the triumphant return of the parade last fall, saying only that it would return in 2022. Last month, however, we were thrilled to learn that the Guest-favorite Magic Kingdom experience will be returning in March.

Now we know more about the parade’s showtimes. According to Magical News Live, from March 9 to March 12, Guests can catch the “Festival of Fantasy” Parade at 11:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Beginning March 13, Guests can enjoy the parade at noon and at 3:00 p.m. on most days. However, showtimes are always subject to change, and the parade is often canceled or delayed if inclement weather precludes the performance.

The “Festival of Fantasy” Parade debuted at Magic Kingdom on March 9, 2014, and was part of the celebration of the newest expansion at the park, New Fantasyland. The parade is the culmination of the talents behind Cast Members at Disney Live Entertainment, stellar performances by dancers and other performers, appearances by all of our favorite classic Disney characters, music that fills us with excitement and joy, and some of the most dazzling and ornate parade floats at the Walt Disney World Resort.

And that music . . . it most likely plays in the backgrounds of at least some of many Disney fans’ most favorite Magic Kingdom memories! Don’t remember it? Just click below for the audio from the parade!

Disney invites Guests to “Celebrate the spirit of Disney as Magic Kingdom Park comes alive with music and dance during a tribute to the tales of Fantasyland,” describing the parade as follows:

“The unbridled enchantment and vivid pageantry of Fantasyland—and its many inhabitants—winds its way through the park in a thrilling parade spectacular. The dazzling mix of floats, motion, and original music will keep you humming along for days to come. Be a part of this grand gala, with spectacular, state-of-the-art floats starring some of your favorite Disney Characters from “Tangled,” “Peter Pan,” and “The Little Mermaid.” It’s a festival of fun for everyone!”

About Becky Burkett

I'm an enthusiastic writer who finds joy in random things like cold weather, snow, "I Love Lucy," "The Andy Griffith Show," journals full of blank paper, countdowns to Christmas, the month of December, "Toy Story," "Sleeping Beauty," my 4 kids, my 4 shih tsus, Disney Parks history, Imagineering and visiting the parks. I think Walt Disney is the standard against which genius should be measured. I love to write about Disney Parks, Disney history, all things Imagineering and PIXAR. I adore the colors, story and art direction of Disney's "Sleeping Beauty" (Team Make it Blue!), and "Toy Story" is life (minus "Toy Story 4"). I believe Walt Disney was so much more than an entertainment and theme park tycoon; I believe he was a savant with a vision for life and how it could be if happiness and kindness are strived for. I love Biergarten at EPCOT and 1900 Park Fare at Disney's Grand Floridian. You can find me croonin' with the birdies at the Enchanted Tiki Room, chillin' on the PeopleMover or hangin' with Woody and the gang at Toy Story Land. I'm always looking for Imagineers in the parks, and I'd rather meet Joe Rohde and Tony Baxter than anyone in Hollywood! Hey, if you dream it, you really can do it!
