What To Know: Ticket Availability Dwindles for Disney’s Magic Kingdom Park This Fall
Guests hoping to snag a spot at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party still have options, but the window is closing fast, with only six dates left available as of September 8.
Another Date Sells Out
Walt Disney World Resort‘s website confirmed on September 8 that Friday, October 23, has officially sold out, joining the growing list of unavailable dates for the 2026 Halloween season. Guests still hoping to attend can choose from these remaining dates:
- September: 24 (Thursday), 27 (Sunday), 29 (Tuesday)
- October: 1 (Thursday), 25 (Sunday), 27 (Tuesday)
This year has actually broken with recent trends; 2026 marks the first season in several years in which a Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party date didn’t completely sell out ahead of time. The August 30 event, for instance, still had tickets listed for purchase on Walt Disney World Resort‘s website as the night arrived.
Remaining tickets are priced between $174 and $224 for adults and $164 and $214 for children ages three to nine, with kids under three admitted free when accompanied by a paying adult. Ticket holders can enter the Magic Kingdom starting at 4:00 p.m., three hours ahead of the park’s closure to regular guests and the start of exclusive party programming, which runs from 7:00 p.m. to midnight.
Inside the Halloween Celebration
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party has remained a Magic Kingdom Park staple for decades, taking over the park on select nights through October 31. The event includes trick-or-treating throughout the park’s lands, themed food and beverage options available for an extra cost, meet-and-greets with rarely seen characters, and access to exclusive Halloween merchandise.
This year’s lineup blends new and familiar entertainment, including Mickey’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular fireworks over Cinderella Castle, Mickey’s Boo-To-You Halloween Parade, the Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular, and the newly added Stitch’s Masquerade Mashup dance party in Tomorrowland.
Costumes are permitted for guests of every age during the event, a notable exception to Walt Disney World Resort’s typical rule barring guests 14 and older from dressing as recognizable characters elsewhere in the parks.
