The call came in at 1:14 p.m. on September 13, with law enforcement responding to a report of “Battery (Unwanted Touching or Striking Someone)” at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground. Scanner monitoring account @WDWActiveCrime shared the 911 call log on X (formerly known as Twitter), writing:

🚨 Police Alert 🚓 – 9/13/26 1:14 PM
🚨: Battery (Unwanted Touching or Striking Someone) at 📍: Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground

The Google Maps screenshot included with the post marks a location along a roadway near the Tri-Circle-D Ranch, within the Campsites section of Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort. That said, most scanner reports tied to Walt Disney World Resort theme park and hotel properties are logged under generalized coordinates rather than the precise site of the 911 call, so the exact location of Sunday’s battery incident remains uncertain.

As of now, neither Walt Disney World Resort nor the Orange County Sheriff’s Office has issued a public statement about the incident at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground on Sunday afternoon. Additional details could surface later if a police report is completed or criminal charges are filed against those involved.

It’s currently unclear how many people were involved in the altercation, whether anyone sustained injuries, or whether those involved were overnight guests, day visitors, or Disney cast members working at the Magic Kingdom Resort Area hotel. Authorities are unlikely to release identifying information about anyone involved unless they move forward with formal charges.
