A famous Disney actor and the voice behind one of Disney Parks’ most beloved attractions recently made a rare on-camera appearance to give an interview, and even to his most devoted fans, he was nearly unrecognizable.

‘Seinfeld’ Actor Patrick Warburton

Patrick Warburton is a versatile American actor known for his distinctive deep voice and imposing physical presence.

He gained widespread recognition for his portrayal of David Puddy on the iconic sitcom Seinfeld. As Puddy, Warburton brought a unique blend of deadpan humor and eccentricity, making him a memorable character despite his relatively few appearances.

Puddy’s signature catchphrases and quirks, such as his love for face painting and laid-back attitude, left a lasting impression on fans of the series.

Warburton Unrecognizable During Recent Appearance

During a rare appearance on an Australian morning show, Warburton had a whole new look–one that included facial hair not usually sported by the actor.

The actor has worn a mustache before, but this time, it was noticeably thicker and darker than in the past. Though Warburton’s natural hair has a gray hue to it now, his mustache appears nearly black.

The Former David Puddy and Disney

Warburton’s new look won’t have much effect on Disney fans, who likely recognize the former Seinfeld actor more by his voice than by his looks.

Warburton lent his voice to Kronk, the lovable henchman in Disney’s animated feature The Emperor’s New Groove. He then reprised this role in the animated sequel, Kronk’s New Groove, and again in the television series The Emperor’s New School.

But Warburton also stars in a production that has multiple performances seven days a week, 365 days a year at Disney World’s EPCOT and at Disney California Adventure at Disneyland Resort in California.

He’s the voice and the visage of the chief flight attendant at the Soarin’ attraction at both Disney Parks resorts. His safety address before guests’ flights often rings in the minds of fans long after they’ve left the parks:

Okay, let’s review. That is seat, seatbelt, carry-on items, safety strap, fear of heights, keep your hands and arms inside at all times–anything else? Oh yeah, have a nice flight.

Earlier this year, Warburton surprised guests in person at Disney California Adventure when he made an appearance during the reopening of the Soarin’ attraction.

Warburton also lent his voice to the character of Mr. Steve Barkin in the animated series Kim Possible.
